"Great place to stay but you have to get your keys from down the street. Just pay attention to that. Fun place to be in downtown Nauvoo. Also you park in the rear of the property or on the street. That wasn’t clear in the booking."

"This cabin was perfect for a laid back weekend. The beds are comfortable, the screened-in porch is spacious, and this is the cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in.I only have a couple of complaints. I understand not investing a lot of money on cookware for a rental property, but there wasn’t a single pan that I would use for cooking. The other is that the view of the river is blocked by overgrown brush. The lot is mowed, and I’m not suggesting cutting down trees. But knocking down the brush between the trees would allow a much better view."

"The breakfast is very basic, and the elevators are slow and scuffed. But the staff is very incredibly welcoming and they have lots of items available if you have forgotte anything. The pool and hot tubs were very clean and well maintained. Our jacuzzi tub was very clean as well, which is often difficult in a room setting. Overall 5 stars!"

"We booked this property for a holiday weekend while visiting my father at his new home in nearby IL. I was a little concerned by some of the reviews but from the moment we arrived until the moment we checked out we were ABSOLUTELY impressed. Every single staff person that we encountered was pleasant and welcoming. They offered their assistance freely without making us feel like we were being a burden. The property itself was clean and updated. Our room was huge and comfortable. The beds and linens as well as all of the furniture were clean and in good condition. The beds were comfortable. We travel with my husband’s VA service dog and she was welcomed openly. We saw many other pets traveling with their families and staying at this property as well. In the past we have at times experienced places that advertised being service dog friendly and upon arrival we haven’t felt as warmly welcomed, so when we had a different experience here it was such a relief! The coffee was always hot and the water and coffee in the lobby were both fresh throughout the day. The breakfast was AMAZING! As a former Hilton employee who served breakfast at the property where I was employed I know what Hilton Standards are and this was exactly what Hilton expects from its brand of Hotels. I am so happy that we found this property as we will be returning at least yearly to visit my father and I know where we will be staying from now on!"

"This cozy Inn was fun to stay in. It's got a grandmas cottage type feel. It's not as sterile as some other hotels are. The rooms are large. We had a 2 queen with twin bunk room with ample space. Air-conditioning was great. Downside is the temperature in the shower can suddenly change from warm to cold. Like when a toilet flushes or someone turns on a sink. There doesn't apear to be a temperature regulator. Walls were a little thin. We had some noisey neighbors. The halls were lined with artwork that you could purchase. The pool was good, although a little heavy on the chlorine, our eyes were burning just sitting in there. Plenty of towels available. Staff was very friendly! Breakfast was excellent."
