“We stayed at Mt. Gilead Sunrise for 5 days to attend a family wedding. It was above and beyond our expectations. The hosts have thought of everything you might need from extra toiletries to the most comfortable furnishings.The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and so peaceful. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful, relaxing vacation to stay here! We spent two days touring the museums in DC and it was so nice to come home to Mt. Gilead Sunrise!”

“Sheila made our visit so enjoyable. The apt was perfect for our group. She even had the blowup mattress up and ready for use. The location was close to Morven Park were we were for the weekend. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.”

“I stayed 2 nights at the Cozy Getaway and it was exactly that—super nice, comfortable, and just as pictured. Perfect for 1–2 travelers, maybe even with one kiddo. Kimberly, the host, communicated well, was attentive, and very friendly. My favorite part was definitely the porch—it made the whole stay feel extra relaxing. The place was spotless, and the location is great with good food within walking distance.I’m almost hesitant to share how much I liked it because I definitely plan to come back!”

“Great host and clean apt in a perfect location! In historic downtown Martinsburg, where we walked to dinner and a show, then a great low cost breakfast at Boyd’s in the morning. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with supplies, and couch was comfy. Would recommend again!”

“Location, location!!We wanted to be by a local cider house…and we were. Walk to all kinds of food and shops. The outside is a little different, but we weren’t there for the outside. Inside is a cute little apartment. Loved our stay. ”

“The studio was good for the two of us and our dogs. It is very clean and comfortable s on a farm which we found appealing. Very convenient to restaurants (Middleburg) though a distance from dog-friendly wineries. I would definitely recommend it for a short stay. ”
