「We were completely satisfied with our seven night stay and would highly recommend this hotel to others. The staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby and our room were lovely (clean, well-appointed). The beds and pillows were great. The breakfast was wonderful and plentiful. We will definitely stay here again.」

「Kitchen area unclean. The front desk was not staffed all the time. Weird smell all over. Old mattresses in the back just strewn aside. Dangerous playground. Burn marks on bed covers.」

「Never ever take this hotel.....it's the most disgusting hotel that we ever stay before!! I even got itching after sat on the couch! By the way, we'ad booked for 4 nights for 2 rooms , but the front desk sent us an invoice and asked us to check-out (paid everything upfront)on the 4th morning; although we're more than happy to leave it, but who is going to return me the difference?」

「My room was mostly clean (water rings on some of the furniture that were sticky), but overall satisfactory. It was quiet and comfortable. I liked the layout including a sitting area with a desk. The architecture was beautiful (Frank Lloyd Wright). It’s a bit dated, but not awful. Close to Mason City’s downtown which is so quaint and totally walkable. Lots of history and beautiful architecture. I highly recommend if you want to hang out for a day or two.」

「Our blackout curtain was broken and could not be fixed by staff. Very bright lights from parking lot made it difficult for family to sleep, especially the young ones.」

「Front desk recommended a local Italian restaurant that was real good and close to the hotel. There was also some shopping nearby; Ross, Famous Footwear, Bath & Body, etc.」

「Could not get a comfortable temperature at night for sleep. Bedding seemed to heavy. But other than that it was fine.」

「The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. He moved a fily with a barking dog to a different part of the hotel. He also, when we had trouble with the remote for the TV came and helped us manage finding TV stations.」

「The property was dirty. The room was disgusting. The towels need to be thrown in the trash. They smell like dirty floors. It was just a dirty Hotel man who the hell wants to stay in a place like that. I’ll never stay there again. Have a good day.」
