Beautiful and Peaceful!

Beautiful setting close to Collingwood

The grounds are immaculate. The front porch is large and comfortable to visit on. The house is very clean and lovely. The bed was very comfortable. Country setting with country house; love it.

Very clean. The grounds were beautuful. Loved the wrap around porch. Interior of house was very nice. Second floor bedroom was very roomy. Convenient to have bathroom and shower on same floor. Decent living room and kitchen on first floor.

This house was super clean and has real character due to its restored hardwood floors, beautiful wood trim, wood interior doors, and lovely wooden stair going up to the bedroom and bathroom. All the windows have lovely wooden-slatted blinds so there is lots of privacy. The place is simply and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable and bringing our own linens was no problem. The front porch was a great place to sit and read or have coffee. Two suggestions: perhaps add another place to sit in the living area, and add a shelf or shower caddy in the shower for easier access to soap and shampoo (and so the soap dish doesn't fill with water!). The place was very quiet and private, with a line of trees blocking the road from view. We really enjoyed our stay!!

Collingwood getaway done right!

Quiet and Relaxing

Beautiful property, very well maintained.

The cabin we stayed in was very nice and the grounds and property is extremely well maintained. Host was prompt and friendly on check-in and check out. We look forward to checking out the other cabins on the property in the future.

Quaint farmhouse stay

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was the perfect accommodation for the two of us. The pictures are accurate, the farmhouse is very clean and modern, and the location is close to Collingwood. The check in/check out was easy and the host was very responsive.

Tranquille Charming Weekend Getaway

The property is charming, quiet, clean and was well prepared for our arrival. John and Cheryl were friendly hosts, easily accessible prior and during the stay. Great location just minutes from the historic downtown of Collingwood and a 15 minute drive to Blue mountain skiing. We would happily book again for an easy relaxing stay!

A great place to stay.

We enjoyed having a quiet place for us to enjoy. It rained, so we didn’t explore the property, but hope to come back. The home was perfect as it was close to Collingwood, and had a lot of space to stretch out and relax. Highly recommended.

Another fabulous visit

John has a wonderful property that is close to everything, yet quite enough to enjoy. We go to bike the area and we can leave for the day out the front door and not have to worry about loading the biles to enjoy the trails.

Peace and Tranquility in the Country

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed or visit to the area. Lots to do around Collingwood to keep us busy. The porch that surrounds the cottage gave us the opportunity to sit outside before setting out and after coming back from a busy day for a cup of tea or a drink. anyone who visits John and Cheryl's place will be thoroughly relaxed and the end of your stay. Glad we came here would be happy to come back again.

Farm House Charm

The pictures don't do this lovely property justice. It's a very neat, clean and well maintained home. The grounds are beautiful and also very well kept. The host was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this rental.
