“Got to the property and found someone living there and it wasn't the host. Couldn't get in touch with the supposed host. Contacted vrbo who were as useful as a fart in a spacesuit. Had to then urgently find other accommodation which thankfully we did through a reliable source. Booking. Com. Had contacted vrbo two days before the booking to raise concerns and was told everything was fine and i shouldn't worry. Overall experience was horrendous. Even getting my money back was an absolute……

“For my purposes of visiting an unwell relative, it was perfect. However, if you don’t know the area it appears a bit run down. The appartments themselves have good security with cctv. I booked through travel site and found communication was not easy. I have a feeling the owners are new to letting their appartments so hopefully teething issues. The cleanliness was ok but I again suspect that it was a rush job to prepare for our stay. The apartment location is central and a short walk to the train……

“DO NOT BOOK this apartment. We arrived at property with an eviction notice on door - property has been repossessed. The number given when booking this property ignored messages and made us believe that we could stay. Scammers who are now not willing to issue a refund.”

“The property was fabulous. It catered for all of us. Nice to see children’s entertainment there for some down time.It was close to all amenities. Quiet little cul de sac which was lovely. It surpassed our expectations as we had never used VRBO before. Maxine was great when we asked questions and quick to respond. Would use again. ”
