“Cute little place. Easy check-in and good communication with the host. We were not aware that there would be no towels, so bring your own if you stay here. The front door is weird and three of us pinched our fingers in the door. Also, the water smells a little funny. We had no cell phone service here, but the WiFi worked great.”

“This is the second year in a row we have stayed at this cabin on Autumn Lake. It is absolutely perfect! The location is stunning and has the back drop of the perfect fall setting. The location is exactly why we chose to stay here again this year. It is a five minute drive to the salmon river. It is so easy to get up and go fish, come home for lunch and then hit the river again in the afternoon. There is a great gas station and dollar general less than 10 minutes away for any last minute items……

“The bed was very comfortable. I found the place a little dark, as all the windows are up in the front part by the kitchen. The kitchen worked out really well - had everything i needed! It was cold, damp and windy, and then snowed, so did not spend much time outside. I think I would love sitting in the yard or on the front porch in warmer weather. “Beautiful, serene wooded land. Saw a lot of birds. Beds were comfortable. The kids loved the swing and exploring the woods. Saw two Garter snakes. The pond is also really pretty. We didn't fish only enjoyed the scenery. Before we left the kids were asking when can we come back. Also wanted to note my king Charles cavalier loved the long windows she could sit on the floor and watch the birds. For those who must have internet the WiFi works amazing.”

“We had a wonderful time at the Tubbs' Family Cabin. It's clean, fresh, and very comfortable. The property is a good balance of in the woods/close to the city of Rome, NY. Our host has been responsive, kind, and welcoming. Their cabin made our Christmas holiday extra special. It's a beautiful property.”

“Very cute place and James was very attentive. Once the second bathroom is done it will be perfect. It is small but still spacious. We did all kinds of crafting and had plenty of room to set up a few tables. The dining room table is cool but we did not find it comfortable as it is very tall and small. But it can be worked around as there is plenty of room to set up another table. We will definitely be back!!!”

“Nice open living area. Two of the beds were made up but had been slept in before 😬. Host was responsive, but didn't take any action (seemed to doubt our word). Would've been nice to have soap in the shower, or other comfort touches, but it was fine.”

“Cozy little cabin for girls get away. Needed a little more seating for comfortable conversation/relaxing movie watching. Lots of bugs both dead and alive. I did talk to the host about it and he did offer us another cabin, but they also had bugs. He was super responsive to my calls and messages. Not horrible, but for 3 “girls” bugs were a bit of a turnoff.”

“Had to cut our stay a bit short but we would definitely go back. Cabin is small but well-appointed, property is beautiful — we had a great time walking on the hiking trails and just sitting by the koi pond and relaxing.”

“We loved the property and once we got sorted out about being able to bring our dogs everything was great. The area is lovely and the fenced yard was a plus. The house was comfortably furnished and well stocked. Eclipse day was cloudy but we were able to get views from the back yard. We used extra days to explore some natural areas, awesome and I got to hang out with both my sons and DIL in a roomy house on a beautiful lake.”
