「The cabin was beautifully decorated and full of everything you would need for your stay. The host has thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable down to the cozy candles.」

「4th of July fireworks were incredible. Sunrises and sunsets could not have been more beautiful This house offers views that are incomparable. That’s said..we weren’t prepared for how steep the climb and descent up Burkemont Mt actually is…and then the driveway! I would recommend other guests make sure they have their car breaks checked out good. House was clean, beds were comfortable. Only minor complaint would be better bed sheets, a toaster, and a replacement remote for the bedroom tv. Wish...

「The Hunky Dory was a relaxing mountain weekend! Very cozy, nice weather, and only 40 minutes to Chimney Rock/Lake Lure! When we arrived, the bedroom’s AC unit was leaking all over the floor, down the curtains, and there was a puddle of water by the bed. I called the host twice and left a message, but I never heard back from him throughout our stay. Other than that, everything was great!」

「A beautiful location, very quiet, serene and a wonderful place to connect with family.」

「Honestly, this is the coolest cabin we’ve ever stayed in! The architecture and materials used in building the cabin are beautiful! Very responsive host! We went into Marion, about 15 mins. away. The meed tasting in town is a must, as is their turkey sandwich.」

「This lake house exceeded our expectations in every way. The property is gorgeous, with thoughtful touches throughout, and the views are simply breathtaking. The lake was peaceful and perfect for boating, swimming, kayaking, and unwinding as a family. Communication with the host was seamless from start to finish, which made everything even easier. We made great memories together and would happily return.」

There was plenty of room, the location was gorgeous, bonus we got a storm and were able to lay in the second room with all the windows and it just added to the overall natural beauty. The cookies left by the host were a wonderful homey touch and they were delicious. The attention to detail in this whole...

「Very nice, quiet, pet friendly, we decided to add an extra day with our stay and they were very responsible and accommodating, with young kids wished there had been plastic glasses, our family loved sitting on the deck and the porch watching kids play」
