Lovely cottage, poor host communication

Fabulous cottage, however we were not contacted at all by the host or cottages com. In fact, we had to chase the booking and payment status throughout, and had not even received any check in details by the day prior to staying. Again, we had to chase. The excuse we were given was that their online system was not working. Poor excuse given we booked and paid months ago.
