“We arrived and easily checked in with the given code. House was clean and smelled great! Bathrooms were well stocked with toilet paper, towels/washcloths, shampoo/conditioner and body wash. Each bathroom also had extra items such as ear cleaners, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. Plenty of dishes and cooking items! Loved all the bedroom/sleeping space! We had 11 plus 3 toddlers. We brought a pack ‘n play. Basement is chilly, but lots of fun activities! We played pool, ping pong, arcade games,……

“Great place, clean and in great spot for our activities. Yard needed maintenance and the upstairs ac was slow but eventually got nice. Three trash bags was not enough for five days let alone for 5 women, but we were happy with the property. Very pleased with the price.”

The house is located in a nice, quiet, and safe neighborhood and you feel like you are out of city limits. There is so much room for you and your family to spread out and have some privacy! “clean and cute property for a festival weekend. more than enough space, good amenities, comfortable. we loved the mud room or whatever it’s called. i will say it kinda smelled funny, like smoke or something. i would recommend air fresheners or candles for guests with sensitive senses of smell like me.”

“The house was beautifully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The only complaints from the guests were the bath towels are too small not very absorbent. Also the 1-ply toliet paper was not the quality one would expect for a place this nice. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this property.”

“Stayed for a few nights with friends and the location couldn't be beat! Everything downtown is a stone's throw away. The two-car garage was incredibly convenient for our group. The owners were very helpful and accommodating, and very responsive before, during and after our stay. We encountered only a minor issue and they were quick to address it. Overall, great experience - would stay again next time I'm in town.”

“Easy to get to and from where we needed to be. Small but clean and met all the needs for sleeping except one part-basement included sleeping option for the couch but doesn’t work if you’re over 6 feet tall. We managed with that since it was a teenager. :) Overall we’re planning to stay again!”

“We had a fun time staying at this house. We visited downtown Des Moines and had a great time at Adventureland. The only suggestion would be to have some dish towels in the kitchen. The arcade games, ping pong table and skee-ball were popular with the kids. ”
