“The house is large, clean and has a wonderful kitchen! The views of the ocean are stunning and unobstructed. You cannot walk directly to the beach from the house- it is a good 80 ft above the beach on a steep embankment. Beach access is down the street a few blocks- about a 10 minute walk. It was wonderful, but it wasn’t clear to me the beach front listing is different than beach front access. We would stay here again! Perfect for 5 adults (2 couples and 1 single) sharing a house!”

“We enjoyed our stay, we did have to clean the hot tub, it didnt have any clorine and the water was green with algae. There was no laundry soap and bleach. The house was nice, it was big. The kiddos loved the gaming room, pacman was fun. They also enjoyed ping pong. The toilet in the master bedroom was hard to flush. I also had to clean under the oven in the warming rack. There was a lot of crumbs. Just minor cleaning things, other then that we enjoyed the house. We appreciated the close access……

“My mother and I spent a lovely weekend watching the waves and drinking tea. This is a sweet little house with two bedrooms, which allows plenty of privacy when needed, but also boasts an excellent front row seat (couch, actually) for you to look out to the ocean and people watch while cozy inside. The only caveat to this place is that the stairs going up to the second bedroom are steep and narrow - within spec, but I wouldn't try to hoist a big suitcase up there again!”

“Our second time staying here, we really enjoy this home and the quiet location. The 8 of us stayed comfortably and we loved the layout of the big living area where we could all be together. The large, well set up kitchen accommodates cooks and helpers to work around each other very comfortably. A very nice place to stay at beautiful Cape Kiwanda.”

“Comfortable but we feel there needs to be more attention to detail in maintenance and cleanliness. Low or no batteries in multiple things including smoke alarm. A couple of bath towels had stains on them also the bunk bed mattresses were soiled. I would recommend a different stool or chair for the lighthouse deck. The chairs were old and not comfortable. I would have loved to sat up there at night to watch the sunsets. Also recommend another chair in the living room. Nice longer walk to the……

“Loved the house. Cozy and well stocked kitchen. Property management not helpful with TV issue at all. They obviously only have records of the house but no experience with it. When I asked for help they told me the house only had one TV and I assured them it had two. Long story short, I figured it out myself. Other than that it was a sweet house and I would come again!!”

“We were happy with this house. The amenities were appreciated. Loved the deck and firepit as well as the private hot tub. There are paddle boards that were fun to use. Small but very cozy and room for everyone. It was nice having the bay right outside the back door.”

“This house is in a remarkable location. We had a few perfectly clear sunsets we could enjoy simply standing on the balcony. The beach is also just about 25 years away. There were 12 of us and had plenty of space and we had a really wonderful time. That said, I will always try to avoid staying in Vacasa managed homes. It was a great deal for the price but I'm not sure I'd choose to go back. I wouldn't describe it as clean or cozy but great for a long weekend on the coast.”
