Welcome to Reader's Rest, a beautifully renovated, dog friendly miner's cottage in the historic township of Clunes. This charming property features 3 bedrooms, each equipped with air conditioners to ensure your comfort during your stay. The cottage also boasts 2 modern bathrooms, providing ample space for all guests.

The open-plan kitchen and lounge area is perfect for socialising and relaxing and features a cozy wood heater to keep you warm during the cooler months. The property also offers an outdoor entertaining area, with a BBQ perfect for hosting a gathering of family or friends.

For those who love to read, the property includes a dedicated reading room, as well as a cozy nook in the lounge area.

Conveniently located just 100m from Top Shop Milkbar, and within easy walking distance of the town centre you'll have quick access to a range of amenities including cafes, art galleries, and specialty shops. Peaceful stay, allowing time to do all those things you dream of doing….Read books.Completed a 1000 piece puzzle.Solved a murder mystery.Did some painting.Played some backyard cricket.Played another backyard skittle like game.Played guitar and sang.Just up the road had some laughs on the flying fox!Connected with family. Togetherness xxEasy walk to township for coffee. Newsagents staff were delightful and so patient with my elderly Mum. Fabulous butcher - highly recommend the lamb ( happily made best friends with our two dogs), IGA has all you need. Pharmacy also didn’t disappoint for some take home gifts.Well fenced property for dogs.2 very hot days/ nights 40 plus - air conditioned main room and bedrooms - we were all very comfortable.

The Perfect Clunes Stay!

We loved our stay in this beautiful home! It was exactly as advertised. The house was pristine, beautifully appointed and incredibly clean. It is a 5 minute walk into the heart of Clunes and in a quiet spot. Everything you need is at the house including heating and cooling. Beds were super comfortable too. Highly recommend this property!
