Quay Hotel and Spa
10/10 Excellent
"It is a surprise to see the hotel because it is hidden in the estate from the road. It is beautifully situated overlooking the straits with the Castle lit up at night.
Inside the hotel is tastefully decorated and everywhere is well maintained
An excellent place to discover North Wales from."

IXORA Hotel and Spa
8/10 Good
"I’m extremely fussy and very particular, however I thought this hotel was absolutely lovely!
The majority of staff were great, the food was wonderful and it was clean, comfortable, homely and had a really nice ambience.
I’ve knocked a star off for little things like tiny plates for breakfast (what’s that all about?), crumbs were still all over our floor after the room had been cleaned, the floor to the shower was lethally slippy, the breakfast wasn’t kept hot (luke warm at best), and the coffee was revolting (You’re missing out on a trick there …… imagine if you invested in a PROPER coffee machine and cakes - you’d make a killing)!
Not overly impressed at being charged £25 per person (as a guest) to use the pool/spa.
However, none of the above detracted from a lovely stay.
We’d definitely stay here again. "

Chatsworth House Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I had a wonderful stay at Chatsworth Hotel with my mum and we really enjoyed our time there. A special mention goes to the lovely receptionist, Sakshi, who truly made our stay extra special. She was polite, respectful, and always happy to help. Her recommendations for food were excellent, and she was eager to assist with anything we needed. She genuinely made a big difference to our experience and deserves recognition.
The hotel itself was very clean, and although the room was a bit small, it was tidy, comfortable, and cozy. The location is excellent, with easy access to sightseeing spots, which made exploring very convenient. We also enjoyed the swimming pool, which was a great addition to the stay.
Overall, we had a really good experience and would definitely come back again."

The Wild Pheasant Hotel & Spa
6/10 Okay
"The room was okay. Though to be fair clean. The beds were a tad uncomfortable. The bed had a ridge at the side so probably needs a new matress. The pillars were cheap. One was too low and two were too high. The breakfast was of a reasonable standard. Though I doubt whether the sausages were Welsh sausages. Probably cheap sausages from wholesale suppliers. I used to make sausages and these definately werent home made. The buffet was very average. The bread was cheap commercial bread. The yogurts were full of ultra processed rubbish. Someone needs to take control of this aspect of the experience. On the positive side the location and the Staff were very pleasant. Not sure whether I would be back in a hurry. "
