Cozy - Perfect location - Set rate per night

  • Nestled on the hillside above the historic precinct of Clyde this classic kiwi batch offers stunning views - on a recently added deck - at a great price. No more than a stone’s throw from the heart of Clyde you can literally smell the coffee. A great place to stay whether you are looking to bike the Rail Trail or just kick back and take it easy for a few days.

    A new compact open plan kitchen/lounge leads out on to deck that overlooks a sweeping private lawn complete with Central Otago apricot trees at the foot of the tree-lined garden. The three bedrooms are accessed directly off the lounge, which is heated by both a heat pump and log fire. A tidy bathroom with a new gas heated shower completes the space. The house is fully double glazed for extra warmth.

    The House:
    • Only 200m to Cafes, restaurants, gelato shop, movie theatre and quaint gift shops
    • Lake Dunstan only a 5 min drive
    • Situated very close to start of the world famous Rail Trail

    Central Otago offers many great activities close by:
    • Wine tasting at the many close by vineyards
    • Golf
    • Many historical towns & locations
    • 5 minute drive from Clyde into Alexandra
    • Only an hours drive to Queenstown or Wanaka & 20 minutes to Old Town Cromwell
    • Ski fields an hours drive away

    A place to relax, heap of great boardgames and books. No wifi (but with excellent reception you can of course hotspot from your phone).

Awesome holiday house

We really enjoyed our stay, we had a lovely time switching off for a couple of nights. Very well equipped property with great views of the mountains. Comfy beds, warm house with plenty of firewood & the convenience of a heat pump too.

Stay in Clyde village reviewed by a fussy Pakeha

Satisfactory stay in suburban house rather old school furnishings; walking distance to village; fabulous log burner kept us warm. Beds and bunks clean and comfortable. Remember to book early if you want to go to Olivers but alternative at Post Office restaurant was great and good food. Overall quite a satisfactory stay.

Comfy & Cozy in Clyde

Great location, with nice views and an easy walk ro the town centre. Authentic kiwi holiday experience - nothing fancy but very comfortable & had everything we needed. Good to have no TV or wifi so we could play board games & hang out with the family.
