“It’s a very cute old farm house nestled in a peach orchard! Rolling hills with a porch swing that overlooks the orchards and a pond. The hosts provide all of the essential's for a comfortable stay! Communication is wonderful from beginning to the end! Would stay here again and again!”

“Cool renovated property that keeps that old fashioned charm. Spacious living with all the amenities you need for a vacation stay.”

“Pa's House was everything we had hoped for and more! Great setting, great location and extremely clean. Located in the heart of wine country, it made traveling to and from the local wineries convenient. We will most definitely be booking again in the fall, can't wait to get back! Thank you for sharing your family's home with us.”

“The good: Communication with the host was excellent throughout the whole process! The beds and couches were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels and pillows. The inside of the house was very clean. The value we got for the money was incredible! The bad: Upon arrival, there was a lot of trash in the yard which wasn't super welcoming. I ended up picking up what I could see. The garbage appeared to have not been taken out in weeks and smelled terrible. There was also a strange……

“Nice place. We cooked meals inside on the stove but also over a fire at the fire pit. There is a small creek behind the cabin that runs when it rains out. That was pretty cool. No nearby light pollution so the sky is really dark at night and you can see a lot of stars. Overall a great experience. Two wineries close by. It's on the wine trail. Close to everything in Southern Illinois. We went to all the state parks.”

“We were disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t working but the house was clean and everything else was great. They compensated us for the hot tub not working and were easy to communicate with. Five stars! ”

“The lodge was just as described, and more. It was clean and attention was paid to details. Before we arrived, our host recommended places to see and a restaurant called Mase's Place, that didn't disappoint. Unfortunately, it rained the day we arrived and all the next day so we didn't explore the property like we had hoped to, but we, along with our 2 furbabies, very much enjoyed sitting on the back porch listening to the rain hit the leaves. We are very much looking forward to staying there……

“Host was nice....house and beach needed some tlc. House was for the most part clean. I would come back. Love how secluded and private the house was. Definitely a place for a group.”

“Me and my friends stayed here before i leave in a couple of days. I absolutely loved the house and it was so clean and Allison was very good and prompt with her response when I needed help. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a relaxing get away with kids. Has everything you need.”
