The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and appliances, air conditioning was adequate during the heat wave, and the washer and dryer came in handy for our swimming and hiking days! First time pulling into the Pa’s house property we knew it would be a great stay.The location worked perfect for our hiking adventures, most places were only a 20 min drive away. But then, she is in her late 60's. Nevertheless, a good place that we will recommend. A/C worked well, and was needed. Room very clean. 「Nice place. We cooked meals inside on the stove but also over a fire at the fire pit. There is a small creek behind the cabin that runs when it rains out. That was pretty cool. No nearby light pollution so the sky is really dark at night and you can see a lot of stars. Overall a great experience. Two wineries close by. It's on the wine trail. Close to everything in Southern Illinois. We went to all the state parks.」
