Rooms are on top of the restaurant so it can get smoky and the food smell is everywhere since the kitchen is by the stairs when going to the upper floors, room floors are not well maintained, no AC but there is a fan provided, the location is convenient to town centre, castle, pubs and shops

Meget imødekommende da vi ankom. Totalt autentisk værelses interiør ift. hotelnavn. Godt brugt hotel, men rent og fint i både sengetøj, håndklæder og shampo. Total lækker udsigt absolut de få penge værd

Very beautiful view from the balcony. Everything else is 😏 I asked for drinking water and the staff asked 9 euro. Ok to stay for one night. Very strange pillows

Interieur is antiek, maar dat vind ik juist leuk. Bed kraakte wel behoorlijk. Hotel direct aan het water en er achter allemaal winkeltjes. Auto parkeren moest 400m verderop. Motor parkeren blijkt wel te kunnen. Begane grond is een heerlijk pizeria. Geen airco. Simpel, oud maar zeeer leuk.

Ei palveuita, mitä kyllä etukäteen tiedettiin, yksinkertainen majatalo pizzerian yläkerrassa, ihan retro. Ei aamiaista, mutta lähellä oli monta ravintolaa. Vuoteet pihtaita. Ei hissiä.

The person at the check in counter was very helpful. The rest of the staff was unhelpful, rude, and at one point one of the women servers bumped into my disabled friend almost knocking him over. That’s pretty much what you can expect from this down at the heels, poorly run hotel. The website offered breakfast, and WiFi - but neither were available. My room had no hot water in the sink, dirty floors, and paper thin towels. This was the last hotel in town not booked- that should have sounded a warning alarm for us. My message- stay away unless your only other option is sleeping in the street.

The room was tiny, perhaps the smallest I have ever stayed in (of > 200 rooms). No parking was included and paid parking was difficult to find. The room was a small private bedroom with a double bed, and wardrobe/armoire. The room was cared for. The shower stall worked well, but the bathroom had little elbow room. The hotel is an offshoot of a restaurant, thru which one goes to get to the stairs leading up 3 flights of stairs. Once I received the internet name and code (12 hours after check-in), internet connection worked well. Cochem for us was an inferior experience to what it was in 1984 and 2007. Our room was half the size of what we had before, breakfast was no longer included, parking was much tougher, and the human chessboard disappeared, and room prices were much higher - relative to other cities and towns in southern Germany - than they were in 1984 and 2007.
