We have been to this park a couple of times before and it is set up in the hills outside Keswick in a beautiful area of the Lake District. The site is surrounded by countryside and stunning views so can’t fault the site and location. The lodge was everything we expected from stopping there before, however the lodge did have a few parts that need work doing to it such as holes in the floor and damage to the ceiling from the air vent. The family loved the hot tub and added something to do on the site and somewhere to relax. Only downside as there was privacy glass on one side but the other side was exposed meaning people walking past or in opposite lodges could see us, which is not what you want if your body conscious and trying to relax. The main downside where the beds, which were as solid as sleeping in rock and woke up every morning with a sore back. The kitchen also lacked a lot of basic equipment such as decent pans and cutlery which made making food there for a family very difficult. The restaurant was great and the food was excellent, though a little over priced for the standard of food.
