Baker Cabin Located In Scenic Clark, Wyoming.
This quaint cabin on 21 fenced in acres is located in rural Clark Wyoming and lies in the shadow of both the Beartooth Mountains and the Absaroka Mountains. It is minutes away from two destination towns, Red Lodge, Montana (40 minutes) and Cody, Wyoming (35 minutes). Enjoy a 68 mile scenic drive on the Beartooth Highway referred to as "the most beautiful drive in America" by Charles Kuralt of "On The Road" or fish for blue ribbon trout in the Clarks Fork river as there are numerous access areas just minutes from the cabin's door. This area borders the Shoshone National Forest affording the visitor numerous outdoor opportunities. Our nation's first national park, Yellowstone National Park, has two entrances (Northeast and East) within easy driving distance from Clark.
The area is home to numerous wildlife such as pronghorn antelope, mule and whitetail deer, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, black and grizzly bears, elk and coyotes.
The area abounds with history. In 1877, Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce evaded the U.S. Army by passing through Clark and traveling out the mouth of Clark's Fork Canyon on his attempt to reach Canada. Take a drive on the Chief Joseph Scenic Byway (Wyoming Highway 296) and follow the route of the Nez Perce.

Father & Son trip
We really enjoyed this little cabin. VERY well equipped for cooking meals and the view from the front porch was exactly what we needed! We hiked the nearby Clark’s Canyon and we drove the trail that starts north of the cabin (4x4 required for creek crossing). We even got to see pronghorn as we drove the rocky two track into the mountains! We will be back to use this cabin in the future

The Baker Cabin is Absolutely Amazing
Kim and Charlie have made our experience staying at the Baker Cabin a vacation that we will never forget!! We enjoyed every bit of our stay. The peacefulness, and the views from the Cabin are amazing! We loved the area of Clark WY so much that we would love to live there someday. We plan to definitely stay at the Baker Cabin again.

A week at Baker Cabin
Super clean, very efficient floorplan, amazing views from every window, owners respond super quick. The photos can never describe exactly how beautiful this area is. You just have to go and sample it in person. I will be returning for sure. Best vacation I have had in years. Everything super clean and well organized.

Perfect Getaway
The Baker Cabin had everything! I loved the kitchen and the bed was so comfortable but nothing beats the quiet surroundings and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Kim and Charlie were great hosts.

Our favorite place in Clark!
This is our second stay at this cabin and in our 15 years of traveling in Wy and Montana the only place we have enjoyed so much we had to stay again and we plan to return several times more. The cabin sits in a wonderful location away from the crowds and has amazing views. It has everything we need for a great stay and the hosts are amazing! I can’t imagine why anyone would not love this place!

Family get away
The Baker Cabin was perfect, our two granddaughters had a blast exploring the country side looking at all the cactus, they didn’t want to leave, (neither did we)! Every direction there was absolute beauty, and the cabin had everything, the washer and dryer was a excellent bonus!

Dream vacation
This was our first trip out west. Ive never seen such Beautiful landscape. Some of the pitures that i took looked as if they weren't real. What a wonderful gift to each other for our 25th anniversary!! Otw to cabin we saw a cattle drive through the street (was awesome).Never knew what you would see to and from cabin.

Amazing!
The cabin was just perfect! The owners make sure you have everything you need! We needed batteries for the TV remote and they had them to us in less than 20 minutes. The views from the cabin were breathtaking. We also had Pronghorn Antelope in the front yard the second morning, and the last night we were able to see the Northern Lights. We will definitely be back.

OMG!
We knew the Baker cabin checked off all the boxes, and the price was right: full kitchen, separate bedroom (not a studio), table for meals and games, comfortable living room/ sitting area for reading and relaxing, and a washer/ dryer. But what was it REALLY going to be like, given the photos of the “neighborhood?”
It could not have been a better stay for us. Our hosts obviously put time and careful attention into the cabin. Everything worked, and worked together, practically and aesthetically. It was the perfect place to come home to after a day of touring. Comfortable, clean, welcoming… To sit on the porch as the sun rose or set was a joy, and the star-gazing was incredible.
Like the cabin, Kim and Charlie were welcoming, easy to work with and made sure we had what we needed. With self-check-in, we never met, but never felt lost or out-of-touch.
We can’t wait to return; it’s only a matter of when, not if.

So Peaceful
What an amazing visit we had to the Baker Cabin. So quiet with views for miles. Enjoyed wine on the deck, watched a storm roll in and disappear over the mountains. So amazing. Hosts were so helpful with questions about the area and very prompt with responses. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Great cabin in an amazing location!
The Baker Cabin is everything that I was looking for and then some. Kim was an exceptional host making sure that I had everything I needed. Her communication was stellar and if there were any questions/issues, she would make sure to handle them timely. The location is ideal if you're looking for privacy and wanting to get away from it all. The cabin itself was clean and had all of the necessary amenities that I needed for a comfortable stay. I really enjoyed sitting on the deck and taking in the amazing views the area has to offer. Also, Clarks Fork Canyon is only a 15 minute drive and is well worth the visit. This is such a great vacation rental!

Better than expected
We loved the Baker Cabin. Perfect for a couple looking to get away from it all. Washer and dryer are an unexpected bonus for a small cabin. The solitude, silence and stars were awesome. Very close to Clark’s Fork Canyon and fishing. One “small” thing to consider. If you are a large person you will struggle with the size of the shower. Just something to consider. For us it worked adequately and if back in the area we will stay there again.
