  • Welcome to our exquisite secondary waterfront oasis, where luxury meets family-friendly fun in an idyllic setting. Located in coveted Kidd Island Bay with community beach access, this home is a haven for both relaxation and recreation. Step inside and discover a world of entertainment and comfort, where high-end furnishings and stylish decor create a welcoming ambiance for your family's getaway. The spacious living areas feature large windows inviting in plenty of natural light and beckon for quality time together.

    Take the kids downstairs to the recently updated converted garage- game room/living area, where you will find an additional living space, arcade games, couches, a flat screen Tv and a 1 bed, 1 full bath suite. The gourmet kitchen is a chef's delight, equipped with top-of-the-line appliances and ample counter space for preparing delicious meals. Dine in style at the large dining table, or take your culinary creations al fresco and enjoy a barbecue on the outdoor patio with a nightcap of roasting smore's on the propane firepit. Outside, the fun continues with a plethora of water toys included for your enjoyment of the community beach. From kayaks to paddleboards, there's something for everyone to make a splash and create lasting memories on the water. Utilize our boat dock during your stay! Reach out for more details!

    When it's time to unwind, retreat to the serene bedrooms, each thoughtfully appointed for restful slumber. The master bedroom suite features your own private balcony, a large beautifully updated bathroom with a walk-in shower and large luxurious soaking tub. Upstairs, on the top floor, you will find a spacious loft area including 2 additional bunk beds, a full bath and a 1 bedroom with two queen beds + crib. This home comes fully stocked with coffee, paper towels, toilet paper, soap products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, dish soap), laundry detergent, as well as bed linens, towels and beach towels. All the Tv's in the home feature streaming capabilities for your favorite apps, Netflix, Hulu, etc.

    Sleeping arrangements: Master bedroom- 1 king bed on the second floor, Upstairs loft bunk bed, (kids only please), Upstairs bedroom 2 queen beds, + crib. Downstairs bedroom- 1 queen bed

    **Parking: Driveway only NO street parking maximum of 3 cars

    Stays over 15 days will require an additional cleaning fee.

    Please note this home has 3 floors and the use of stairs are required



    Community beach: Access the lake by using the gravel easement (located from the driveway, across the street to the left). Please do not walk across the neighbors lawn.

Amazing lake house

Late summer getaway week

Rented the house in early September with the family. What a great place! Awesome location and beautiful views. Will definitely book again , we love the house and love CDA !!

We loved the house and it was perfect for what we needed. The garage was especially fun and unique for the kids. The only negative was that it wasn’t the best beach access (community park was small and not very nice) but I think it’s properly advetised in the description. 15 minute drive to downtown CDA so it was wasn’t an issue

Great Getaway near CdA

A wonderful hidden spot near CdA! A group of us were looking for a spot for a getaway on lake CdA- this spot was perfect. The house was clean, spacious and stocked with the essentials. The beds were soft and location was ideal for zipping into town. The owners have put a great deal of time and effort into making the house a true vacation spot. We loved the decor! The lower level was awesome for kids. They could throw the football, play video games and just hang out. We also enjoyed the fire pit on the deck overlooking the lake. There were paddle boards, kayaks for enjoying the lake. The water access is across the street, and all we had to do was haul the boats down a side path. Very doable. The only downside was the beach area. The ‘beach’ is not a place you would want to hang out at- covered in goose stuff. BUT the water was clean and the lake was beautiful. Just a heads-up on that.

Not quite the “lake” property

Check in process was simple. Sleeping arrangements were not great. One bedroom and one bathroom is in the garage! The bunkbeds are in a loft and thus all noise from downstairs is heard by the “kids” sleeping. Not a fan of the barn door style used in the powder room and a bathroom- doesn’t provide privacy. The kitchen seemed large but the stove was “antique” and really awful to cook on. Very impractical. The kitchen was fairly well stocked but minus any cutting knives. I had to go and buy a set to chop veggies. When we arrived and sat on the deck, there were swarms of bees. Management response was “well no one else complained “. They did have pest control service the porch and areas. The bees did return a day later and we had a few bee stings and I left messages for management that the bees were still a problem to solve. This unfortunately eliminated any time on the patio, the best part of the house. The lake access was really not optimal. No dock to access and frankly I felt cheated. It was very ambiguous where exactly you could be on the water, which was very swampy and not ideal. The space was expensive and it was okay but I would definitely not recommend you stay here. I have stayed at numerous VRBO properties and this was disappointing.

CdA vacation home

The location of the house is great. It is really lovely the way it is decorated. It is not lake front and you have to walk down a public access to get to lake but that was fine( there is a private property in front). You do have Great Lake views. Kidd bay is pretty shallow and has a lot of lake reefs growing up. We did get permission to bring a boat in so that was great but you do have to be careful given the reeds. It is a very quiet BWI or hood which is nice. The layout of the house is a little weird. There are really 3 bedrooms ( one of which is in the back of the garage) and an open loft area that has bunk beds. The upstairs was a bit warm and hence the box fans provided. The house does have AC. Overall, we all fit, 8 adults and we enjoyed our stay very much. The kitchen is reasonably well stocked. There are hidden drawers within the drawers so we did not find the sharp knives or plastic wrap til 2 days in! But it’s there( you have to stand back or bend down and then you see the upper hidden drawer. Checkin and checkout was easy. The cda agency managing the property in particular Whitney was very responsive. We had a door lock issue and some ground water seepage from over irrigation that was quickly addressed. I think for us, we would not rent again as the layout was not optimal for 8 adults. The loft area better for kids. Otherwise, a great house. Also we had no problems cooking. There are wall ovens and the antique stove electric burners work. The gas grill was not very
