“The Daria-I Nor hotel was unexpectedly closed during our stay in Alpe d’Huez. This meant there was no access to the facilities advertised at the time of my original booking. The restaurant was closed for breakfast and evening meals. The Spa, Bar and Ski shop were closed, and access to the Alpe Express was only available via a 100m muddy path rather than through the hotel. The staff were friendly and the swimming pool was adequate. If I had known the hotel was closed I would have booked more……

“The staff were amazing and made the stay lovely- the spa areas was very relaxing and the room was clean and well furnished. Would certainly stay again!”

“Idéal pour des vacances d’hiver, l’appartement a tout ce qu’il faut. Personnel de l’hôtel extrêmement gentil et serviable, ils font tout pour rendre votre séjour le meilleur possible. Le village de Villard-de-Lans est par ailleurs très agréable. Que ce soit la résidence ou le village, on se sent comme chez soi très rapidement. Nous recommandons fortement.”

Je regrette toutefois que les linges de maison (draps, serviettes) ne soient pas fournis et surtout que cette information ne soit pas plus visible sur le site hotels.com. cela m’a occasionné un surcout qui aurait pu etre évité.”

“The apartment was not as the pictures described it on the website, very misleading. Kids bedroom with no windows and had black mold on the ceiling There was also no window in the bathroom and extractor fan did not work, so also had black mold Toilet sink had come away from wall, the shelf was propped up with bits of paper The kitchen had kick boards missing, the fridge didn’t work properly and was generally old and tired looking The second night (Sunday) there was a big party in the room……

“Stunning location in the alps. The accomodation was picture perfect and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The chap who greeted us at reception on day1 was such a gentleman, very knowledgable, and very helpful. Excellent overall”

“Très bel immeuble de l’extérieur et emplacement idéal! Appartement en rez-de-jardin à l’arrière du bâtiment, sombre, sans vue et sans charme. Un seul ascenseur pour rejoindre le parking à l’immeuble pour toute la résidence (évidemment le Check in est à la même heure pour tous, il faut être très patient). Et à l’ancienne, un état des lieux où il faut compter fourchettes et cuillères (oui! Ça existe encore!) Parking sans lumière toute la semaine. On est repartis la veille pour éviter l’attente à……
