“The house is large and comfortable. Fabulous kitchen with huge island. Kitchen furnished very nicely. Loft was very cozy & comfortable. Nice sized bedrooms & bathrooms. Master suite is huge. Great whole house sound system. House location made for easy access with minimal traffic. Not on water, but very short walk to nice beach/recreation area. Host communicated very well. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“We wanted a place that we could swim in clean water with some privacy. The beach area was fantastic - the water is extremely deep and blue. The property was clean and Grand Rapids is close enough to get groceries or explore. We visited the forest museum ands few local restaurants.Breanna was fast to respond to any questions, The kids liked the friendly chipmunk on the beach. Would recommend to anyone!”

“This property exceeded our expectations and is absolutely beautiful. It has great yard space for games and gathering and the lake is beautiful. The houses itself is perfect for large groups with plenty of space. We had 10 people staying and never felt crowded. I can’t wait to book our next vacation here!”

“Cozy, clean and quiet. The lake is absolutely gorgeous. Clear sandy bottom and shallow along the shoreline. We enjoyed kayaking and even caught a few sunnies! We made most of our meals at the cabin but did venture out to Riley's Cannibal Junction for a couple of awesome burgers and a quick stop at Hayslips Corner just down the road. “Was a really great place for our mom/daughter weekend up north. Beautifully decorated, and everything we needed was there, as well as a few nice surprises we wouldn’t have expected. “Highly recommend! It is true “glamping” with all the amenities of a hotel room, but a lake view from the master bedroom in the morning is amazing. Very attentive host, all the utensils you need, Keurig coffee maker, full bath with plenty of hot water & lake access. Beautiful sitting areas by the lake, plenty of fire pits & outdoor games. We will be booking here again and the outdoor experience with perfect location from Grand Rapids is worth it! ”

“Very well taken care of cabin in an extremely relaxing setting. It was very clean, despite having neighbors a couple hundred yards away, felt very private. The Loons & Frogs are the only sounds around sunrise and sunset, with a pair of eagles talking to each other as they fished. Would highly recommend for a place to paddle and decompress. ”

“Nice water front cabin! Great area for boating, biking, and hiking. Short bike ride to the Mesabi Bike Trail. Mike is very accommodating to your needs. Well kept place, very clean with nice touches like bottles of water, coffee, very nice towels etc. The separate screen porch is a nice addition giving views of the lake. Swan Lake is an above average lake, clear water and I was told a decent fishing lake. We would definitely stay there again. ”

“I stayed a week with my family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children age 9, 10, and 14). We had an amazing stay. The lake water is super clear. The area is so peaceful and relaxing. The house comes with 2 kayaks, a paddle boat, and even some tubes for floating. The water was a good depth and temperature for swimming. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed for cooking meals. I've been booking with VRBO for almost 10 years and this host was by far the kindest and most responsive person……
