We were thankful for rainy weather because we did not want to leave! “My wife and I stayed 4 night in this updated 1700s cottage that was clean and cozy. I’m an early riser so I enjoyed the early mornings by the fire pit and my wife slept in. We visited a lot of the area places ie Strasburg railroad, sight and sound theatre which was amazing! Went to Amish and or Mennonite owned and or run shops and markets and just had a relaxing time when we return to the cottage . The Meck’s did a wonderful job updating yet keeping it from the era. It's located close to everything in town without being in town itself. It's right off a main road, but the cottage is set back enough so that it is not obtrusive. The cottage had all the amenities that anyone would need and was beautifully decorated and very well stocked with sundries. The property itself was gorgeous. Just……

“Brian’s beautiful property on the water was fantastic! My family and I rented the property for a special family gathering and birthday celebration. The home was spotless, the beds were very comfortable and the amenities were excellent (hot tub, pool, pool table, etc). Brian was very responsive to any questions I had. He is very thoughtful with how he stocks and prepares the property - e.g. pool toys, ice maker, and there were even retractable baby gates in front of the stairwells. This property……

“Stayed here to attend US open LPGA tournament with 3 friends. Nice accommodations, walking distance to several markets, eataries, etc. We enjoyed the back firepit area alot. At times neighborhood could get noisy w car radios but subsided fairly quickly. Nice large bathrooms, comfy beds, and couch. Kitchen could use some more pans, utensils but we made do. Easy entry/checkout, good communications with host. Would rent again if in the area.”
