This apartment provides all the things most people look for in a vacation rental, including a superb view which can be seen from every room, good size rooms, excellent air conditioning, tile floors, well-working stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and clothes washer, high ceilings, outdoor space, no noise, a large information binder on local attractions, beach umbrella and beach chairs, and a fabulous deep pool with a view of the Mediterranean. The apartment pictures don’t do it justice. The town of Collouire is a fifteen minute walk from the apartment and is incredibly lovely with lots of restaurants, bakeries, ice-cream shops, supermarket, twice-weekly markets, and forts/castles/churches to explore. Collouire’s beach is rocky, but some of France’s nicest sandy beaches are a ten-minute drive from the apartment by car. The Spanish border is approximately 45-minutes by car. Lots to do and see in the region, including vineyards, medieval towns, hiking, kayaking, and more. The hostess, Mrs. Wendling is very helpful, flexible, and kind. We intend to return someday.
