The location was absolutely ideal, tucked away in a peaceful setting yet just 10 minutes from La Roche-Posay, home to an incredible spa, casino, and plenty of local shops and restaurants serving fantastic food.There’s also a lovely market held twice a week that’s well worth a visit.Our hosts, Lisa and Bryan, were exceptional from……

“This is such a beautiful home. It is located in a quiet area close to the center of Poitiers. The house is very large, so there was plenty of room for us to spread out. Phillipe is such a wonderful host. He was so incredibly kind and generous with his time. He drove all the way from Paris to meet us. We arrived early, so he had a friend meet us at the house to make sure we were able to get in. We had so much fun getting to know Phillipe. We wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely……

“Sejour en famille pour fêter un anniversaire. Gîte tres agréable tout clôturé pour le chien. Tres calme et fonctionnel, chaque couple a sa propre chambre avec salle de bain. Grande cuisine avec tous le nécessaire. Les extérieurs sont arborés, barbecue, table pour vivre dehors( et table de ping pong, jeu flechette..)Météo malheureusement peu ensoleillé et piscine non chauffé ( juste le dôme garde la chaleur si fermé) malgré le temps nous avons passé un très bon séjour.”

“This holiday was simply fantastic. The house was ideal for our family of six adults and a 1 year old child. Set in open countryside the property was easy to find, secluded, peaceful and the thick stone walls kept us cool in what were unusually high temperatures. No light pollution so the stars had to be seen to be believed. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed most of our meals outside on a long table and comfortable new chairs. “The host very kindly allowed us to arrive after the final show at Futuroscope (so around 11:15pm). Was easy to contact him and got prompt replies. The studio apartment was clean and comfortable. I would note that you do need to take your own bedding and towels. The studio is also at the top of two steep stairways, so if you have mobility issues this may not be the place for you. For us a family of 5 it suited our needs perfectly and we would stay again. Thank you Sylvain.”
