We enjoyed staying here. Nicely renovated. Simple and cozy. Quiet neighborhood. Short walk to the main drag. Great outdoor space with fully fenced yard for pets.

Peaceful
The outdoor area with covered patio was very nice and pleasant even though the weather was quite hot. The proximity to the bay afforded a cooling breeze. Upon first approaching the property the area looked a bit sketchy but we hardly saw anyone and it was very quiet.

Great place
Quiet area great for families. Loved the outdoor space. We brought 2 large dogs and they had a safe place to enjoy without escaping. The fire pit was nice and the shed with the beach chairs and different sized bikes was awesome. The inside was clean and had nice touches. The golf cart rentals and restaurants were very convenient.

Wonderfully Appointed & a Fantastic Backyard
I use VRBO often and have found my expectations are always met; this property was full of pleasant surprises. Some as simple as a power strip attached to the leg of a nightstand, making it so easy to charge your phone, to a basket full of snacks (something sweet and something salty) and bottled water. There was even a utensil in the fire pit so you can easily stir your fire. And the backyard is perfect. It’s completely fenced in, and all the small escape areas are blocked with wire fencing and stone. The outdoor furniture was attractive and comfortable. The kitchen was great too, nice water view from the window, plenty of counter space, and I loved the color scheme too. We had a wonderful time, the Blue Crab is a lovely home and Joe was a great host.

Nice Bungalow, clean, well equipped, great fire-pit! Comfy beds and pillows, nice waterfall shower.
Wish we could have stayed longer and that I had planned a bit better for the Easter Holiday weekend! The place was nice and comfortable. Close to the town and different activities. (Although being early in the season and EASTER - not much was open. - (My scheduling error) We enjoyed the Colonial Beach Brewery & the "Ice House" at Eugenes - on the water with live entertainment and GREAT soft shell crab sandwiches! Overall...GREAT! Our small dog enjoyed her stay as well! Many Thanks!

Best Family Staycation
We had such a great time at the Blue Crab. The home is very clean inside and out, well organized and stocked with just about everything a family could need for a fun vacation. Host communication was wonderful and we felt very welcomed. Beds were comfy and the kids loved lounging in the saucer chairs. Weather was a bit on the colder side but we were still able to enjoy the beach and the home’s fantastic backyard. The kitchen is well appointed and the living room/dining room has several games that kept us off our cell phones and engaged in family time. This was our first trip to Colonial Beach and we’re looking forward to returning to the Blue Crab. All around great rental experience.

Great stay!
We had a great stay. The house was clean and very cute. Beds were comfortable. It was too cold to really enjoy the backyard but it was very cute and very inviting. Roku Televisions in the bedrooms which was really nice. We would definitely stay here again. The drive way is very long so multiple cars can park. The only thing that we found a little annoying is the way the neighbors parked across the street. They park in the road so you have to be careful when you try to back out or pull in.
