Host was great, he met us at the home, gave us a tour and info. Provided directions to Venue, eateries. Etc. this was a short visit, but would stay again. Enjoyed hot coffee on a cool morning on screened porch. Thanks!
Very nice place to stay. Quiet and relaxing. I would stay hear again if i return to this area. Thanks so much. I did not meet Bev but Darrell was great communicator and host.
It was a very enjoyable place to stay. Close to most anything you’d want to do. The thing I enjoyed the most was that the house stayed clean the whole time and the absolute peace n quiet!
Peaceful place with awesome hosts. Darrell went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for a quiet little weekend getaway. The house was comfortable and inviting the moment we walked in. Highly recommended!!
What a tranquil perfect week to catch up with my friend and leave the world behind. Loved the location, beauty in the yard and that screened in porch is perfection! Thank you, Darrell.
I was traveling with friends to attend a wedding nearby, and we decided to make a long weekend of it. I'm so glad we chose Mule Town Cottage over a standard hotel! Having a home base that really felt like home was a game changer. Check-in was a breeze, even though we ran a bit late, and the cottage itself was lovely. There's plenty of space, and the couch was especially comfortable for a movie night.
And the PORCH! We were out there every morning sipping hot coffee and watching bluejays. Even in early spring the garden was beautiful, I can't imagine how nice it must be in the summer.
Having two bathrooms made getting wedding-ready a breeze. The main bathroom is especially spacious, which was a great feature for anyone who has an event to prepare for! The cottage itself was cute and homey, with lots of personal touches. We especially appreciated the local history book on Mule Day so we could learn more about the area! We didn't get a chance to meet our hosts, but they kept in touch and made sure we had everything we needed.
Whether you're in town for an extended stay or just a long weekend like we were, this is a great choice. I'd even stay here again if we were going to Nashville - the drive wasn't bad at all, and it's worth it for the porch alone!
Clean rooms Well supplied kitchen Nice linensEngaging hostComfortable bedsWe enjoyed our clean quiet stay close to the venue we were attending. The cottage was comfortable. It was nice to have a carport considering the threat of rain and wet surroundingsEverything met our needs. Our host was thoughtful gracious and welcoming to the cottage and surroundings
Very happy with my stay. The owner gave us a tour on arrival and was very friendly and helpful. The house is very warm and relaxing. I would definitely recommend!
A lovely, cozy home just a few minutes from downtown Columbia, and close to Spring Hill. Clean and well-appointed. A very attentive and welcoming host.

Property was very clean and nicely decorated. About 15 min to a grocery store. Kitchen very well stocked.
We had to visit our family in Franklin for a medical check up and this was just perfect for us. Super close to everything and perfectly between Spring Hill and Columbia. The host was super responsive and clearly takes a lot of pride in ownership. Thanks again for hosting our small family. We will be back soon.
The location is great. Private but not far from restaurants and/or shopping. Very close to the venue we used for my nephew’s wedding. Clean, comfortable with all the necessities and even a few extras. Beautiful flowers!! Host was very nice with great communication. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a that “home away from home” feeling.
The cottage was beautiful, clean and charming. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips. The outdoor living space was amazing. We enjoyed having our coffee in the mornings on the front porch! Darrell was a very welcoming and fantastic host. We appreciated his booking tips and communication. We will definitely return!!
