  • The back view of Jeffrey Mansion in Bexley, OH. Over 100 years ago, Jeffrey Mansion was built as the residence of industrialist and early Columbus City Mayor Robert Jeffrey. Jeffrey served as mayor from 1903-1905 and willed his home to the city of Bexley in 1941. Today the mansion and surrounding grounds are a city park. There is a ghost story attached to the mansion stating that Jeffrey hung himself in his home before granting the city rights to his property. However, records list Jeffrey’s death occurring in October of 1961, a full 20 years after bestowing his home upon the city.

Beautiful large home, great location!

Entry was very easy, the location was amazing, fully stocked house with games, dishes, several pots and pans, coffee machine with coffee provided, washer and dryer with washing powder provided, seasonings, skillet, etc. We had a few issues that were mostly cleared up promptly. Make sure that you have enough clean towels, toilet paper, paper towels, and hoping that the mold around the kitchen sink is removed, no food drips on the cabinets, as well as the ping pong table legs are screwed in completely and lastly be sure that the dishwasher works. The manager sent out the cleaners and did maintenance on whatever we needed. We had the best time ever at this location and will definitely be back again! Beautiful home, great communication, great location! that werewith dirty towels and not tthwere

Wedding visit with family

This was a great place to stay for our family. It was conveniently located to where we needed to be for wedding in Westerville and other meeting spots throughout the weekend. The place was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfy and had an iron, blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, garbage bags, to and paper towels included- even some spices! Highly recommend it!

Plenty of Room

The property is exactly as listed. Large kitchen and plenty of room for 6-8 adults to talk and play board games. We gathered together from across the country to attend our grandmother’s memorial service and catch up with each other. Lots of hot water/water pressure. A few things amiss from previous guests but host was accommodating and available. Loved that we were able to park in the garage. Loved the ping pong table. Washer and dryer worked great. Overall great stay!

Spacious House Close to Everything!

Our family of 5 used this house as our home away from home in Columbus in April, 2024 to attend a horse show at the Fairgrounds. We received the codes to get in a couple days in advance and getting there from the airport was just a short 10-min drive. We arrived later in the evening and it was nice to get there quickly to unpack and turn in for the night. The house is very large and easily accommodated our group. There were rooms we never used! The kitchen is amazingly large with plenty of space to gather, eat, cook and socialize. It had everything we needed for our stay! The location was a quiet neighborhood and a beautiful park nearby which we regret not exploring. Plenty of dining options and coffee places nearby. We had excellent communication from the host, who checked in with us the day after we checked in to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. We were super happy with this accommodation on our trip to Columbus!

Great for a family visit!

My family and I had a great stay here! The house is spacious and comfortable for a big group. Big, comfy couches that were great for a movie night; plenty of room in the kitchen to prepare meals. My nephew loved the ping pong table in the basement! Quiet neighborhood that was a quick drive to grocery stores, Franklin Park, etc. We enjoyed walking in the park across the street. Thanks for the great stay!
