Wish breakfast was available for longer and there were almost no surfaces to put anything on in my room but the bed was huge and comfortable.

We have stayed here many times (maybe 10?) and it’s always been pretty good. However, we were recently there for the Luke Combs concert and it was absolutely horrible. Why? We stayed at the room at the end nearest the train tracks and the train must’ve gone by eight times. For the love of God it was horrendous. Constantly woken up and I’m a VERY heavy sleeper. This on top of the constant thumping foot falls in the room above us. Were they running a marathon?! There cannot be any insulation or sound deadening between floors. I’m still exhausted just thinking of it!

We stayed at this property Saturday, April 25 for the Luke Combs concert. The reviews weren’t bad at all so we took the chance and booked it before it sold out. Upon checking in and entering our room, the toilet had pee on the toilet seat and a tampon wrapper in plastic part was in the trashcan. A towel was already used to dry hands in the soap was opened.. the air conditioner made a sound like it had a rattle inside of it so at night that was real enjoyable to listen to for $331 a night. I expected a lot better.

We came for concert at the Shoe only 25 minute walk, nice to have several restaurants within walking distance, great room only bad thing was floor looked clean but feet ended up filthy just needs mopped. Loved the steamer, blow dryer and refrigerator worked amazing beds were very comfortable.

We felt like the pictures on the Expedia were a bit misleading - we were expecting more of a hotel and it is really a motel. That being said, it was a really cute property and the front desk service was quick and friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but very crinkly/squeaky sounding. No bed bugs for us. At the price I paid ($155), I would’ve really liked a chair and mirror in the room (besides the bathroom mirror.) The complimentary morning coffee and breakfast sandwich was good.

The Olentangy Motor Inn may be the best "bang" for your travel dollars in Columbus. It's an old-style motel where each room has a door directly to the outside. There is no interior hallway. The room was adequately sized. Ours had a king sized bed. The headboard wall was freshly wallpapered with a Marimekko - style wallpaper. The contemporary headboard had two, attached, bedside tables and the outlets above them had C type and USB type outlets in addition to standard electrical outlets. Through the sleeping portion of the room was a dressing and sink area. The fixtures were newish. To the right of the sink area was the wet room with toilet and full-sized shower. The toilet was new. The shower was new with a sliding glass door that ran on a track. Everything was spotless. No mold or mildew anywhere. Two negatives on the room- The texture paint on the wet room ceiling was compromised by the moisture and pieces had detached. The micro-perforated shade on the one big window was fine during the day, as it's semitransparent and we could see if someone was walking past. At night, however, when the inside of the room is brighter than the outside, we couldn't see out but passers-by could see in. There was no blackout curtain or shade to prevent this.. Guests of the Inn get one free breakfast sandwich and a small coffee at no additional charge. The sausage, Swiss cheese and egg sandwich was excellent. The staff working the reception area also prepared the food.

We had an absolute terrible experience. We book for one night to attend my young daughter’s early morning soccer tournament. At 2 am someone was knocking at our door viciously and yelling. The person would not stop me we could not reach via phone anyone at the reception and we could not leave the room because we didn’t know if the person was armed or if there was another person around. It was a very scary experience from all of us. Specially my young daughter. After over 10 minutes we finally got a hold of the someone at the reception. No one came to talk to us nor to apologize for it. I went to the front desk next day to talk about and the employee said the manager would call me but she never did. We paid to sleep for 1 night and NO ONE slept a thing after the incident. Do not go to this property. Not safe.
