B&B in Community of Madrid

"Really enjoyed my weekend at this peaceful, semi-rural (but within 20 minutes walk of El Escorial train station and 40 minutes uphill to magnificent San Lorenzo de El Escorial) B&B. As in a typical B&B the rooms are simple but very well maintained and the grounds very relaxing, especially round the swimming pool area. "Great room in a prime location, perfect for two people and with laundry facilities on the same floor which was convenient. Be mindful that it is above a bar in a busy area so you can hear people singing on the streets at all hours, especially on the weekends. Staff were very quick to answer any queries (we had to ask for a spare blanket as the one on our bed was barely wide enough to cover the bed, let alone two people. Would stay again though and check in was fairly easy, just advise what...

"This apartment is on the third floor of an extremely run down building. The suite wasn’t brutal, but the check in routine was. Very central, very noisy especially at night. A bar across the street would fill into the street at night and parties would go until 2:00 am. Unless you want to stay up all night I’d avoid staying here."

"This was a very clean and comfortable stay in a great location. It is above a few floors above a bar, but even on a Friday night we were able to leave the window open and there was not enough noise to bother us. Only issue we had was checking in, but only because we got there after 6pm. We had to haul our bags a few blocks to get our keys, but the host had very clear instructions. Would stay again!"
