Great 10 day stay

We enjoyed our stay at Finca Hornillo as a family of 2 grand parents, 2 parents and 2 children. The pool and terrace are excellent, with wonderful views. The bedrooms are nice and cool thanks to the air conditioning and we found everything comfortable. We cooked most meals, the kitchen was sufficient, we'd prefer nicer appliances (kettle, oven, etc) but it all worked well enough. The nearby village of Competa is wonderful, do try an ice-cream from the Gelatteria. Plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants, a kids park and easy parking. The road to the villa, as others have mentioned, is an adventure but it is tarmac/concrete the whole way. In some places there is only room for one car to pass but we didn't find it difficult. Would recommend visiting Alhambra Granada, and Nerja (beaches + town) while in the area.

Alles ist perfekt. Der sehr freundliche Empfang und die Verfügbarkeit von Martina. Die Finca ist sehr gepflegt, ebenso das Schwimmbad und die Umgebung. Die Ausstattung der Finca ist perfekt. Eine herrliche Aussicht auf die Berge, das Tal und das Meer. Wir haben 2 wunderschöne Wochen in dieser Unterkunft verbracht. Wir werden darauf sehr bald zurückkommen.

Guter Aufenthalt, schönes Haus, schöne Aussicht, hübsches kleines Dorf, 30 Minuten vom herrlichen Strand von Nerja entfernt. Allerdings habe ich das Dorf und die Stadt nicht sonderlich genossen, da die Straßen dort waren, also sollte man nicht schwindelig sein und Angst vor engen Straßen haben. Ich werde in der Nähe von Nerja wiederkommen, aber die Häuser in der Höhe sind leider nichts für mich, obwohl die Aussicht großartig war, aber die Straßen sind für meinen Geschmack zu stressig. (keine Sorgen auf der anderen Seite für meinen Mann).

Ruhe und Entspannung pur!

Für uns ( 2 Paare ) war die Finca der absolute Traum. Vom Einchecken bis zum Outchecken war alles super. Die Finca liegt sehr abgelegen und hat einen traumhaften Blick über die Berge zum Meer. Für Lage und Umgebung geben wir 4 Sterne, weil man immer auf ein Auto angewiesen ist. Auch wenn man gut zu Fuß ist läuft man nicht mal Abends zum Essen in ein Restaurant. Dafür ist der Weg zu beschwerlich. Einkaufen sollte gut geplant sein. Die Agentur vor Ort ist sehr gut. Wir stellten fest 3 Sonnenliegen beschädigt waren und riefen kurz an. 1,5 Stunden später hatten wir 6 komplett neue Liegen. Besser geht es nicht. Abschließend können wir die Finca 100% weiter Empfehlen.

Diese Finca ist einfach himmlisch, wenn Sie dem Alltag entfliehen möchten. Es ist so friedlich, Tag und Nacht ist kaum ein Geräusch zu hören ... nur ein paar entfernte Ziegenglocken. Sehr sauber und sehr gepflegt. Das Bett ist sehr bequem und die Klimaanlage wirkt Wunder! Die Dusche ist unglaublich, möglicherweise die stärkste Powerdusche, die ich je benutzt habe. Die Aussicht und der Poolbereich sind einfach nicht von dieser Welt und jedes Mal atemberaubend, wenn Sie anhalten, um zu schauen. Der Pool wurde während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts makellos sauber gehalten. Einfach ein wunderschöner Teil der Welt und wir können es kaum erwarten, wiederzukommen. Der Weg in die Villa ist ziemlich aufregend, aber man gewöhnt sich schnell daran!

Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Eine defekte Kaffeemaschine wurde umgehend (an einem Sonntag) durch eine Neue ersetzt. Wir erhielten tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen. Die Finca können wir bestens empfehlen. Der Blick reicht über die Berge bis zum Meer, so traumhaft. Die Finca ist ausgesprochen sauber. Anders als in Fincas, die wir in den vorherigen Urlauben gebucht hatten, gab es dünne Sommerdecken, die wir sehr zu schätzen wussten (in anderen Fincas hatten wir oft lediglich Laken). Im 4 km entfernten Cómpeta gibt es genügend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, köstliche Tapas-Bars und eine vorzügliche Eisdiele. Alles in allem: Erholung pur, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Sehr schöne, ruhig gelegene und (fast) uneinsehbare Finca. Die Anfahrt ist die letzten Meter etwas abenteuerlich. Ansonsten ist im Haus alles vorhanden was für einen schönen und erholsamen Urlaub benötigt wird. Die Aussicht ist grandios und im nahegelegenen Ort gibt es alles zu kaufen was benötigt wird. Zum Strand sind es gut 30 min Fahrt. Ein sehr gelungener Urlaub und wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Na twee uiterst slechte ervaringen met woningen via airbnb in Spanje, stonden we toch wel wat weigerachtig om terug te boeken via een kanaal waar we nog nooit van gehoord hadden en toevallig ontdekten. Al snel bleek dat de reviews top waren en waagden we het erop! Iets wat we zeker niet beklaagd hebben! Na duidelijke mailcommunicatie en een schitterende verwelkoming door Antje, verbleven we twee weken in deze prachtige finca. De weg naar en van de finca wordt al snel een gewoonte als je een ietwat ervaren chauffeur bent. Je zweeft er tussen hemel en aarde en wordt er bovendien nog extra verwend met zicht op zee! Alles is voorhanden en de service is uitstekend! Na onze melding van een 'piepend' bed, heeft Antje onmiddellijk Antonio verwittigd. Een half uurtje later is hij langsgekomen en anderhalve dag later pronkte een splinternieuwe boxspring in de kamer. We kunnen de finca (en de gelijkaardige op de bergflank) alleen maar aanbevelen!

Hemos estado en la segunda quincena de agosto en plena ola de calor. Decir que la casa está situada en un entorno muy bonito. Lo más positivo de la casa son las habitaciones, donde se duerme de maravilla. Como la casa está en mitad del campo es un espectáculo por la noche contemplar el cielo y ver las estrellas que no podemos ver en las ciudades debido a la contaminación lumínica. Los niños se lo han pasado de fábula en la piscina.
