“This home has been beautifully renovated. It is so charming. It was a great location for me as I visited my mother who lives off of Rivermont Ave. The bed was so comfortable, I could have slept forever. I so appreciated the snacks in the kitchen. I had a very long day on my check-in day, so they ended up being my dinner. I had everything I needed, including coffee with creamer and sugar, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.”

“It’s an old neighborhood but don’t let that deter you. Revitalization efforts are apparent. House & yard are well kept & clean, back sitting area, fire ring & dog bowls were a wonderful touch. The neighbors on both sides are nice too. They stay to theirselves but will talk to you if you talk to them. There is/was also deer in the neighborhood which was surprising given it’s so close to the city. One was in the backyard this morning! Not sure who was more startled, it or me! The only improvement……

“We had a great stay. We visited Lynchburg to attend a college graduation at Randolph College which is about 3 minutes away from the home. The house was clean, welcoming, and the communication with owner was great. Check-in/check-out was a breeze. The home is on a very quiet street which was nice. We highly recommend it for your stay in Lynchburg.”

“Myself, along with my son and daughter-in-law, were in VA for a family wedding. The initial drive to the property off the main road seemed a never-ending series of hills, twists and turns, especially for folks from the city. But, in fact, the trip in/out was only about five minutes. The property itself was great. A two bedroom, one bath on the lower level of a lovely private home. The house is on a hill so we could drive right to our entrance in back. The unit is all on one floor with no steps……

“We had a great trip to the Charlottesville/Lynchburg area. The property was great for our family with lots to do on days when we had some free time. The host was very communicative and helpful. The property’s view of the mountains was fantastic, especially at sunset.”

“The house and outside of the property were just perfect! The swings and hot tub were the high light of our stay ( be sure to check the tire swing for any nests, made that mistake and ended up being stung by a wasp….nest fell with me off the swing so we carefully moved it away from the swing) Inside was cozy and comfy. AC unit was a little hard to understand at first but it works like a gem! Will definitely be recommending and would totally stay again”

“I stayed at this lovely property during a work conference with coworkers. It was wonderful to come back after work and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The house was spectacular and had great space for all of us to have our own bathroom and the ability to have quiet time. Only concern was it is actually about 25 minutes to Sweet Briar and not 6 as advertised. Also, its advertised as dog friendly for up to 2 dogs and I was charged a fee for each one. Would suggest adding that too. All in all it was a……

“The location of this property is prime if you are looking for quiet with a yard! Plenty of room in the home for everyone in our party. Beds were really comfortable and a lovely kitchen to cook meals. Had a hiccup with the HVAC, but it was handled very quickly and the owner and property managers were awesome to work with. Would recommend to anyone else, and would consider staying there in the future if we are back in Lynchburg!!”
