“Although we booked the Wizard’s Roost, due to unforeseen circumstances, we stayed in the Steampunk room, which was awesome! So creative! There are lots of clever surprises to explore. The whole place was very comfortable, with lots of amenities, especially the full kitchen. My sister can’t wait to tell everyone about this place!”

“We had a wonderful stay in Mystic. Our hosts were responsive to email, as well as accommodating when it because clear we’d need to leave early to avoid a blizzard. The house is, indeed, charming and very clean, with everything one would need for an extended stay. We appreciated the extra touches, like plenty of caffeinated and decaf coffee, Perrier, nuts, and cookies. The house is well-located, just a short walk from downtown shops and restaurants and sites in that area. Easy parking for three……

The home has several great features that I wasn’t aware of ahead of time: multiple HVAC zones and heated bathroom floors among others. Garage access with a remote and two bays. And a rooftop deck with a beautiful view of Long Island Sound and the surrounding area. ”

“We arrived late, and Dan turned on the lights and left the front door open for us. Then on our last evening there began a decadal snowfall; we called Dan and said we had to leave by 7 a.m. and could he please have the very long and uphill driveway plowed before then? Sure enough, he arrived with a crew at 6:30 and we left on time. Because the house was in perfect order, we had no need to contact him during our stay.”

This house was very clean, comfortable spaces for family to relax in, lovely kitchen for cooking! We had snow and frigid temperatures so didn’t get to enjoy the beautiful outdoor space, however we were very comfortable inside!”

“This has been a perfect rental as a home away from home while we undergo renovations. The beds are very comfortable, tastefully decorated love the kitchen & shower upgrades, tv in all bedrooms and the den is a great getaway for work and privacy, only a few stairs at entrance .. close to neighbors but a nice high hedge in backyard offers privacy. Downstairs neighbor very nice and shoveled a path after the storm. Communications were excellent … all in all a nice place to be during a stressful time……
