The room was spacious and clean, although the couch had seen better days. The hotel’s location in Battery Point is great - it’s a 2 minute walk to Salamanca Market, and 5 minutes to the waterfront/Constitution Dock. "

Very short walk to several Battery Pt restaurants and bakery, close to market , waterfront area. Very clean , attention to detail throughout. "

"The staff (particularly front desk) were fantastic and could not have done more to be helpful and entertaining. Our room (a superior one) was dark and did not have enough light either natural or lighting. The bathroom was great, modern but in the style of the hotel. The carpets were worn and didn’t give the best impression. Bar is popular early, but don’t expect a nightcap after 10 - even at weekends. Location is great and history is fascinating. Not sure it was worth over $300 a night excluding...
