「A perfect place to stay in Grand Marais. The Eastside Suite at the Avalong Guesthouse was just right for our 4-night stay. Close walking distance to all the restaurants and shops in town, and an amazing view of Lake Superior from the front windows. I was taking a class at the North House Folk School, which was less than a block away. The property was cozy, exceptionally clean, and beautifully decorated. 「Cozy cabin with all the essentials. Great location with proximity to trails along the Beaver Bay / Silver Bay portion of the North Shore. Cabin is not on Lake Superior, and far enough away from Hwy 61 that you do not hear the road much. Easy walk from cabin to Gitchi Gami bike trail. Cute barrel sauna, very clean cabin, easy instructions to enter and check out. 」

「The Bear's Den was exactly what we needed. Although not walkable to nearby Grand Marais, parking was easy and the town is only a short few minute drive away. The space was comfortable and quiet. My favorite part was reading on the quiet deck space while enjoying the morning sun.」
