“This home was great. Shayla made sure everything went smoothly. The views cannot be beat. Furniture was comfortable, and we had all the necessary accouterments to cook our own meals. The price was very reasonable. The stairs might be difficult for the elderly, but my father who struggles with stairs was able to use them to get to the loft, to take advantage of the amazing view. Master bed is on the main floor, so using steps can be avoided. I highly recommend this home. ”

“Clean and very well stocked kitchen. Lots of space for cooking, eating, and hanging out. Even a French press and good coffee. I like to cook most meals so that was a big plus for me. Plenty of space, great internet. We chose it for proximity to Northhouse Folk School. Because it is winter we didn't make use of the outdoor area, but it is built for some privacy. Place was immaculate, beds comfortable, and it was easy to adjust temperature. Be aware there are a few steps inside so it might not……

“We really enjoyed our weekend here. Quiet and secluded, but still very close to Grand Marais. A path just outside accesses a whole network of trails, we hiked to Pincushion Mountain. And the SHT connects here as well if you want to go further. The furnishings are simple in a very nice way; a folding table with two folding chairs, an electric kettle and a mini fridge are great for morning coffee or simple meals. The only thing we would have changed would be trading the two twin beds for a single……

“We have been traveling to Lutsen for 20 years and this is the best place we have ever stayed. It was perfect! Everything we needed for cooking, cleaning, and relaxing was provided. We used the boats and caught and cooked walleye each day. It was a slice of heaven and we can’t wait to return. We had 8 in our group from 3 generations, ages 17-81, and everyone was happy! ”

“It’s a beautiful cabin, very clean and well kept, well stocked and very cozy! It was the perfect location for our Lutsen ski vacation as it was only a few minutes away. Also close to a great winery. We had everything we needed to make wonderful meals and relax by the fire in the evening! Highly recommend! ”

“This cabin was close to Grand Marais but far enough away that it was a great, quiet place to come back to after a day of sight seeing. Included a small kitchen with everything we needed to cook some meals. Living room, bathroom, and bedroom all on the same level. Nice screened windows on a porch on 2 sides -- was a great place to sit and read. Nice deck. And a GREAT outdoor shower! Ralph was a great host! I think the surroundings and the quiet made this a great place to stay. Thank you……
