“Two BR. and a Bath under the main cabin floor. The place was immaculate! The host were wonderful. The location couldn't be better. The bed was comfortable and thank God for the recliner. I have a bad back. There is River just about in the back yard. Breakfast and lunch are within walking distance in a mom and pop store that sells a variety of things. Beautiful Water Falls and a short drive to beautiful mountain views. Don't miss downtown Blue Ridge. Great shops, friendly people, a tourist train……

“the cabin and experience exceeded our expectations. beautiful view and located actually up the mountain. bring a car with 4 wheel drive if you have one (super steep roads), but still manageable with a normal car. enjoyed our stay and the cabin was equipped with anything you might want to make your stay comfortable. friendly host and a great place to book a getaway, highly recommend”

“We were looking for an outstanding home that was in a very quiet, private and peaceful setting. This home fit what we were looking for perfectly. We only had a couple of minor issues and the owner was quick to take care of those for us. One of the nicest things was when we were in the hot tub and thought we heard something below us. “We stayed at The Bowling Cottage for part of spring break. The cottage was absolutely gorgeous, had everything we needed for our stay, and was extremely clean. We enjoyed bowling and billiards at our leisure. Communication with the property manager was easy and clear, they are very responsive and helpful. The grounds are equally as impressive as the cottage. We enjoyed walking trails, the horses, and the beautiful buildings. The location was perfect as well. We felt secluded in the country……

“This cabin is a lovely, comfortable and clean place for a restful and relaxing time. You are also close enough to McCaysville and Blue Ridge for dining & shopping if desired. Everything was as advertised and we had a wonderful time. The owner is very responsive to any questions you might have. We will be back!”

“The photos of this cabin don’t begin to show the beauty and peacefulness of this cabin. While the Blue Ridge area has so much to see and do, be prepared to want to never leave the property. The large covered deck has rocking chairs and a swing. Sitting there rocking while looking over the stream and into the woods felt like being a part of a fairytale or like a scene from The Secret Garden. Inside the cabin is just as wonderful. The living room area has a full wall of floor to ceiling windows……

“Wonderful view of the mountains and great hot tub that heated up fast. Comfortable sitting area and foosball table upstairs and board games provided. Comfortable king size bed in master bedroom, working ice machine, firepit, nice glass table with candle for porch meals. Dog friendly. Easy to find and access, reasonable check-in/check-out process. “The property and cabin are both nice. However, it’s not as secluded as indicated by the listing. A lot of trees had been taking down which made the area and property more open to other houses. The cabin was very clean and we enjoyed the screened in porch. Also, we had a wild turkey visit us everyday during our stay.”

“This home is nice with ample bedroom space, however the living room furniture although very modern is not comfortable or cozy. The couch was broken in the middle and one side. The home needs an overhaul cleaning. Cobwebs are everywhere, even hanging from the ceiling and the vents are full of dirt. The path to the front door is very overgrown and looks like a snake is waiting to come out.”

“Beautiful would stay again but driveway can b dangerous..It needs to have holes in driveway filled that could cause major consequences. Road leading to cabin was good just leaving driveway.”

“Top tier cabin/ place to stay in blue ridge. Convenient to the town of blue ridge (~5 min) and just an awesome property. We enjoyed just hanging around the cabin for most of the trip! The Owner is awesome and responsive to any needs! Highly recommend!”
