Unique Experience

The owners, Spyros and his family, were very welcoming and we immediately felt at ease. The setting is informal and relaxed. This is self catering with the added bonus that Spyros will cook evening meal as an extra if required. Breakfast is also provided by Amalia as an option. We chose this option and the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The location is perfect, not too far from the airport, overlooking a beautiful sandy beach with crystal clear water, and walking distance from the village of Pelekas where we caught a bus to Corfu town. The apartment is rustic, as appears to be the way in Greece. It is clean with plenty of hot water and clean towels. We would definitely book again.

Perfekt für einen Strandurlaub

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne und erholsame Zeit in den Rainbow Appartements. Spiros stand jederzeit für Fragen und Tipps zur Verfügung und bekochte uns stets schmackhaft und wohlschmeckend auf Speisenwunsch oder überraschte mit einer griechischen Spezialität mit frischen Kräutern und Gemüse aus dem Garten. Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt und waren bestimmt nicht das letzte mal dort. Spiros Mutter lebt auch vor Ort. Somit hat man immer einen Ansprechpartner für Probleme mit dem Apartment, falls welche auftauchen, oder Tipps für den Tag. Geputzt wurde spätestens alle drei Tage, meistens aber alle zwei und das auch sehr gründlich inklusive frischem Bettzeug und Handtüchern. Einzig die Küche war utensilientechnisch etwas spärlich ausgestattet, aber für die schnelle Küche allemal genug. Zum Strand ist ein Katzensprung und man ist nicht auf der Strandseite mit den Hotelburgen. Bis Korfu-Stadt sind es 25-30 Minuten je nach Verkehr. Alles in allem ein super Ort, um Sonne und Kraft zu tanken, alle viere baumeln und sich von vorne bis hinten verwöhnen zu lassen.

Ein sehr schöner Ort. Die Wohnungen sind klein, jedoch sehr sauber und völlig ausreichend. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist sehr nah am Strand mit einem wunderbaren Blick. Es gibt ein Willkommensessen, einen Wein und einen Kuchen. Auch kocht der Vermieter auf Anfrage traditionelle corfu-Küche und serviert im Garten. Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, freundlich, entspannt und zugleich unaufdringlich. Herausragend....

Wundervoller Urlaub in Korfu

Wir hatten wunderbare 10 Tage bei Spyros und Amalia. Das Appartement liegt in direkter Nähe zum Strand und man hat einen wundervollen Ausblick. Die Gastfreundschaft von Amalia und Spyros war einzigartig. Spyros bekochte uns mehrmals mit einem hervorragenden Essen und Amalia überraschte uns immer wieder mit süßen Speisen, wie Kuchen oder selbstgemachter Marmelade. Spyros gab uns außerdem wertvolle Ausflugtipps, um die wunderschöne Insel Korfu besser kennenlernen zu können. Wir haben den Urlaub hier wirklich genossen und kommen gerne wieder. Madeleine & Mario

Familiäre Unterkunft dirket am Meer

Das Appartement liegt sehr schön im kleinen Badeort Pelekas mit Sandstrand. Der Weg dorthin ist sehr steil und kurvig, aber er lohnt sich. Wir haben dort eine sehr schöne Woche verbracht. Die Inhaber sind sehr herzlich und aufgeschlossen und es gab leckeres Essen frisch gekocht von Rinos. Ein Abendessen und Frühstück war mit dabei, ansonsten kann man das Essen optional ordern. Das Zimmer ist sehr rustikal eingerichtet und verfügt über eine kleine Küchenzeile, täglich wurde es kurz geputzt. Frische Handtücher gab es zwei mal die Woche. Wir würden die Unterkunft wieder buchen.

Beautiful location, wonderful food and kind and generous hosts.

Everything about this holiday was wonderful. The beach was a short walk from the apartment with clear blue sea and soft sand... Lovely for morning walks and evenings watching the amazing sunsets with a glass of wine! The apartment had a large terrace with sea views and surrounded by fig and lemon trees. Most of all it was the kind and generous hosts that made our holiday special. Spyros and Amalia treated us like family for the whole of our stay. Spyros makes wonderful home cooked food which we enjoyed eating in the garden under the stars! Amalia also brought us warm croissants, homemade pies and fresh salad from her garden every morning. This place is a true paradise for anyone seeking peace and relaxation.

Il soggiorno da Spyros e Amalia non si può dimenticare! L'appartamento pulitissimo. Tutto OTTIMO!!!

Cucina bio direttamente dall'orto al piatto. Proprietari squisiti attenti ad ogni esigenza ma mai invadenti. Appartamento super pulito meglio dell'hotel 3 stelle dove ho precedentemente soggiornato. Posizione UNICA. Posto selvaggio immersi completamente nella natura. Si di stare in un film retrò dove si pssono apprezzare i veri valori della vita. Sto viaggiando in tutta l'isola e devo dire che ancora un posto così magico non l'ho trovato. Ci si lascia un pezzo di cuore. Una veranda con vista sulla spiaggia e sulla scogliera che non smetterei mai di guardarla. 30 metri dalla spiaggia incontaminata. Mare cristallino bellissimo. Ma ciò che ricorderò di più sarà l'accoglienza calorosa dei proprietari. La signora Amalia la sento un pò come mia mamma quindi anche viaggiando da sola mi sono sentita come a casa mia. Spyros sempre gentile e super disponibile per ogni informazione o richiesta. Posto unico per rilassarsi e lasciare alle spalle stress e routine. Dimenticherete lo stress quotidiano dlla città e del lavoro. Insomma un piccolo angolo di paradiso. Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti. Inoltre si è vicini da altre località balneari molto belle. In giornata si possono fare varie escursioni se non volete rimanere sempre nella stessa spiaggia. Che dire di più? Prenotate e non ve ne pentirete. Grazie Amalia e Spyros. We had great time at Spyros Rinos home . He is a great cook and his Mom Amelia is sweet ,lovely always helpful person . Location is great ,beautiful view on the sea,very close to the beach . We use all the amenities there and feel like part of the family . If I go someday to Corfu that will be definitely Spyros Home . And recommend to everyone who wants to visit Corfu and have a little taste about Greek life and delicious Greek food. Thank you Spyros and Amelia Agata and Ewa from Chicago
