The Hotel is very well situated. Close to the bus stop, a market and few restaurants. But it needs renovation and they need to improve their housekeeping. The towels are old and some with holes. The breakfast is ok with limited options, and the coffee tastes terrible.

very clean hotel and very welcoming staff. The location is great and the pool was really refreshing. the view over the airport was fun and great to see the sunsets. a relaxed vibe all round and just a good spot. The staff were very helpful. The aircon was a delight as well! Breakfast was a little lacking in the selection - for a vegan there is a limited choice, but the onsite Skybar has a great selection of food and drinks for all times. Plus the view is amazing.

Quartos a precisar de remodelação principalmente as casas de banho. A zona da piscina também precisa de renovação, poderiam ter um bar na piscina visto que tem lá uma zona fechada para isso. As almofadas das espreguiçadeiras precisam ser limpas com urgência estão muito sujas.

Receptionisten var supertrevlig och välkomnande. Jag hade kunnat tänka mig att komma tillbaka enbart tack vare receptionisten, som hade ett genuint och professionellt bemötande. Ett sådant engagemang gör stor skillnad för helhetsupplevelsen och är något som verkligen förtjänar att lyftas fram.

L'équipe est sympa mais l'hôtel a besoin d'être rafraichi sur certains plans alors qu'il donne l'impression d'être " fancy". On entend quand même bien les avions et le petit déjeuner est décevant quand à la qualité de ce qui est proposé, mais la quantité est bonne. La literie est bonne, la douche est petite et collée aux toilettes. Experience très mitigées.

Overhead shower didn’t work and had to use handheld shower, no toiletries provided. Only a thin sheet so with air con it was cold but if you turned air con off became stuffy.

Area of this property does provide you with dining options. Dinner at Captain George’s was fantastic however at Skyview was less than expected - you’re paying for the view only. If you enjoy plane watching, The Royal will offer this - including early/late night flight noise. Getting to the beach took about 10min walk - but be aware that traffic, including very large tour buses travelling on this very narrow road, was a bit on the scary side. Beach was mostly for guests of a neighbouring hotel - you can put your towel down beside this area and enjoy the fairly sheltered waters. Travelling to town by bus was uneventful - get prepaid tickets at the local convenient store to save 0.70€. Outdoor pool most certainly less than desirable and across the street from the hotel. Sun beds were completely stained and the pictures depicting the pool are deceiving. Although staff expedited the cleaning of our room to get us in early, it was poorly done. Bathroom door, faucet, and toilet showed signs of previous guests. Staff at checkin as well as front desk staff assisting with arranging for an early checkout taxi were helpful. Breakfast was just okay and filled the need. Overall, sadly disappointed.

I was extremely disappointed with the Royal hotel! Very very expensive for what you get. It's far from the town center, nothing around you either have to get the bus or taxi. And the worse is the NOISE OMG the hotel is next to the take off platform at the airport! constant horrible noise! The staff were lovely but will never book again. Run down pool area, dirty loungers.

Wi-fi did not work in the room. Reception said it had been reported but could give no timescale as to when it would fixed. Also, phones in the room do not work. They give you a mobile number if you need to contact reception. Roms were very dated as was the lounge area. Breakfast was good at least. With some care and renovation this could be a good hotel in a great location.

The towel is dirty and old, and the most serious thing is the security problem, a man (sure it was not a cleaner, and was in the early morning -around 9:30am) opened my room door using his room card when i was in the bathroom. And he closed immediately when i scouted to him. What the staff responded after i reported to them is just ‘we will fix it’ without any apologies. I am sure i will not choose this hotel anymore!!!!!
