“Great little treehouse for 1-2 people. As long as you're not expecting super modern amenities, you'll have a great time. Our only issues were the heaters seeming a little undersized and a handful of wasps kept appearing in the outside toilet/shower room.”

“We had a Fabulous stay! We came for our son’s wedding. The location felt secluded and private was a short easy trip to the venue, and to town for shopping. The Cabin itself was Clean and Gorgeous! We love Current River and River life, so this place was perfect for our family and we had plenty of room for my other kids and grand kids to drop in for some games and river hang time! Our Host was Very responsive, and answered any questions we had, kindly and promptly And took care of an unforeseen……

“A great cabin in the woods! Lots of room, great water pressure. The shower is actually in the bathroom off of one of the bedrooms so if you have multi families staying it takes a little planning to use it etc. I feel like knowing that ahead of time might be helpful?. We stayed with 4 adults and 3 kiddos and had plenty of room. Communication with Ben was great he answered really quickly. Getting there was a little tricky, a little hard to see the arrows in the dark but his directions were right……

“This cozy and incredibly cute cottage is conveniently located near downtown local shopping and restaurants. The 3 bedrooms and open concept is great for extended stays. The large yard with fence is also great if you traveling with your fur babies. The owners have thought of all the little extras in case you forgot any of them. Incredibly clean and welcoming!”

“Absolutely loved our stay here for the 2024 eclipse! We were only here two nights, but wished we could have stayed for a month! Inside we felt like we were nestled deep in the mountains of Colorado, yet this cabin is located only 5-15 minutes to pretty much anywhere in Poplar Bluff. The décor is amazing and makes you feel right at home. The bed was nice and comfy, and there was plenty of space to be had. We didn’t want to leave! “For our 2024 girls trip, we decided to find a property near water with a hot tub. This Current River getaway was absolutely perfect and beautiful for our group this year. The house was set for a medium to larger group. Plenty of space (love the open living room), and the large deck out back was perfect for morning coffee and evenings watching the water. The kitchen had a ton of pans, spices, and items available for use, which helped out planning for meals after we got there. Our girls trip……

“We initially had a scheduling issue to resolve and our host took action to do what was necessary. The evening at River Embrace Estate was beautiful. It is a hidden treasure.”

“Just an great, cute little spot. Doniphan itself is a fun rural missouri town, with hiking and floating opportunities around The site itself is really nice. Theres a propane heater if it gets cold, that works great, and a portable AC to keep temps low when it gets hot. We had a small hiccup with the shower, but that was fixed quickly and the little insta hot water heater works great. There is no cell service (just down the road alittle there is if you need to call out) so disconnect,……

“I enjoyed my stay. Centrally located. Comfortable. Well equipped kitchen except no cutting board which made meal prep a challenge. Hard to judge value since I stayed during the 2024 spring eclipse, so room rates in Doniphan were 5-10 times higher than usual. Would recommend for our of town guests”

“Beautiful setting on Current River, plenty of room, no significant stairs to deal with if you are compromised, someone was available to assist with connecting to Wifi and television issues.”

“I loved the place, it was a beautiful, peaceful view, the cottage was very clean and very well supplied. Beds were very comfortable. The only thing is they did not have propane for the grill when we wanted to make steaks, and we didn’t want to go back into town to get propane, so we use the oven. The manager did say in her property details that if we bought the propane, she wouldn’t reimburse us with the cost, which was very nice. Once we got here, we just kind of wanted to stay the cushions……

“My wife and I totally enjoyed our time here. House was huge for only 2 people, and we enjoyed the space. 6 people would have no trouble at all here. Mornings were great with the well stocked coffee bar. 10/10 would definitely stay again!”
