「This property could not have been any better for our family. We celebrated our dad’s 85th birthday here and we hosted his family for a lovely bbq. We were able to bring our 17 year old standard poodle which made this trip possible. The kitchen was perfect. So many helpful amenities. The house is huge…bedrooms were great, bathrooms wonderful. The deck was amazing… so many thoughtful touches throughout the home to make us feel “at home”. I could go on and on! The hosts were always responsive...

We stayed here overnight for an out of town wedding and it was perfect. Host was very responsive, and allowed us to check in a bit early to get settled before the event. Definitely would recommend! 」

「My sister and I traveled from both Northern and Central Illinois to the Doniphan area to scatter our parents ashes and the current river as they had requested. My dad’s family were all from Doniphan. We absolutely loved this Verbo. The one thing I would say is if you’re looking for somewhere where you’re on the water be in mind that while the site overlooks the water you can’t really just get in the water and swim. It says it has a boat dock, but that would not accommodate launching about....

「Wonderful stay. So many amenities included that aren’t usually at other houses we’ve stayed at before. Our kids loved the games, the backyard was gorgeous and perfect for our dog. Overall an awesome experience. 」
