"We had a great stay at Coco Beach. The 2 bedroom 2 bath suite was so nice to have so that everyone had their own space. They treated us like VIP’s from the moment we landed in Belize City and helped us with our transfer to the Maya airlines flight. Let the resort help you by booking your transfer flight and your shuttle to the hotel that way they will choose the time that’s best to match your flight schedule. We were very impressed by their customer service from start to finish. The food at the pool bar restaurant was great and being able to order room service without an up charge was a game changer for breakfast in the room. The kids enjoyed the pool area as well as the free kayaks and paddleboards. The heated swim up pool bar was a nice surprise and was really nice when it rained and you wanted to stay in the pool but could be under a cover. The property was quiet and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay here and were very happy with the location as well. It was a short ride to Secret Beach and any restaurant we wanted to visit and golf carts were easy to rent as needed."

Pelican Reef Villas Resort

"My family of four had a wonderful time at the Pelican Reef Villa. Elsa and the bartenders were wonderful. They helped us to arrange everything from transportation to other reservations. The resort was beautiful and well maintained. We had a 3 bedroom villa that gave us a beautiful view of the pool and the ocean. All the people that we met in Belize were wonderful. The Island was a little expensive for routine purchases, but it could be due to the fact that it is an Island; supply and demand. We would be delighted to stay at this resort again. PS and family"

"We visited Orchid Bay in late June, and had a wonderful time. Staff were uniformly knowledgeable, helpful, attentive and thorough. Our beach-view casita was lovely, fully-equipped and very comfortable. Food at the restaurant was plentiful and varied (even for folks who have some eating restrictions, as we do). We took advantage of a variety of activities and tours, enjoyed them all, and felt that all were definitely worth our time and money. We were at Orchid Bay during rainy season, and recommend bringing strong bug spray as well as heavy-duty sunscreen - though if you forget, both are available at the sundries shop in the restaurant. If you don't plan on consuming a lot of alcohol, the breakfast-inclusive plan on Expedia may be a better value for you than the all-inclusive available elsewhere. The resort is not glamorous or in the middle of exciting nightlife and luxury shops - if that's the vibe you're seeking, you'll want to go to one of the heavily-touristed towns. Instead, Orchid Bay resort is lovely - as relaxing or full of activity as you'd like, with plenty to do and see and learn, wonderful accommodations, good food, and excellent staff. This was our trip for our 25th anniversary, and we were delighted!"
