Cinnamon Shores

The condo is beautiful- just as the picture shows, great air conditioner, & ceiling fans. However, down hill from there. No insulation/sound barrier in the ceiling between floors; hear/footsteps, children running, movement of chairs, maids cleaning continuously from the 3rd floor. Kitchen was poorly stocked only 1 skillet that was in poor condition, no sheet pans, no whisk or rubber spatulas, kitchen appliances in pantry could not be reached because of height, needed a ladder to reach. No cleaning supplies, only a bottle of Dawn. We had to request a broom & dust pan. The box of tissues in MB was completed soaked upon arrival. We discovered later the faucets were loose & leaked on vanity. The lights went out in common area (twice) & my husband was on the elevator & was stuck - no one answered the help button. The stairwell was completely black due to no lights so we used flashlight on phones as we were packing to leave & continued up & down stairs. The 2 restaurants stated curbside/delivery but was not true. One had dine-in only option & other had pick-up inside during a pandemic. You could only communicate with management by text or leave voice mail no human voice. The property golf cart rentals never returned our phone call. The beach set-up chairs were old & ours were never brushed off from previous day so we cleaned & sanitized ourselves. Also, no information about other restaurants in the area, no TV listing of local #stations so you had to scroll through the entire TV guide, 1 travel size shampoo & conditioner that lasted 1 day for 2 people. Management said enough for 3 days - we did bring our own as we’re staying a week but for what we paid should have had this provided. We left a day early because of the noise from upstairs. We have stayed in Virbo rentals as well as others but this stay was not acceptable. It is a shame because as I said the condo is lovely but the owners need to talk with management to improve customer service & provide occupants with needed everyday supplies & must do something about the noise barrier between floors.

Disappointing

This unit looks out over restaurant dumpsters, and the kitchen had bugs and little storage. The bathroom connected to the master is the main bath for the unit and so has little privacy. Also, the sink in that main bath leaks all over the counter top. While the property did appear clean, the cleaning staff was not wearing masks while going from unit to unit and so had to be disinfected by us.

Beautiful and welcoming, however....

The entire property was lovely and our condo and stay was mostly wonderful. However I suggest something be done about the window coverings in the bedrooms. The bright lanterns and security lights came strongly through the blinds to the degree that I had trouble sleeping in an otherwise near perfect environment. I would suggest light blocking cellular shades for those rooms. I am giving 4 starts for that reason and would not stay again unless something were done about this problem. Usually I sleep very well at the beach because of the relaxing quality of the whole experience, but not this time. Thank you.

Cinnamon Shore is Fantastic

Just loved our stay! Condo was well stocked and spotless.. first summer stay .. we usually come for Thanksgiving.. but this was great.. Dylan’s Pizzeria was a huge hit !! Market Grocery was adorable for and appreciated!! Not to mention a great little deli market! Can’t wait to get back!!xo!
