Amazing vacation stay

Great rental for 2 families

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is well maintained and has beautiful design touches. The kitchen had everything and more that we needed for our meals. Having an ice machine was a HUGE plus. We loved the location of the house and being so close to the green space and walkable to both pools. Having all the towel hooks behind the house was great too. The only thing I would recommend for the king sized beds is a firmer mattress.

Only issue I would think of is that there are no curtains in master to block the morning sun which is hard to sleep in but not if you have littles bc they don’t like to sleep in :) will be renting this place again!

Lovely house, needs small improvements

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is lovely and in a great location. Everything was beautiful but the master bedroom mattress was awful. It sloped to the sides with a massive hump in the middle. I ended up sleeping in the bunkroom with the kids because it was so terrible. It needs to be replaced. Also, the downstairs twin bed has a bar missing making it unstable to be on. Had we not had these two issues, we would’ve given it 5 stars! However, it’s frustrating to pay this much money only to wake up with back problems every morning.

August Getaway at Merroway Cove

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful home. We have stayed in Cinnamon Shores several times and Merroway Cove was one of our favorite homes. The kitchen and living area are a perfect size for hanging out. The beds were super comfortable. Our only complaint would be the slipcovers all needed to be cleaned or replaced in the living area. Especially on the chairs. Some duvets and bedding didn’t look clean either. Other than that the house was in good shape and felt clean.

Reviewer Comments: loved this house! beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and tons of room! a few things that should be addressed: kitchen oven was not working and dishwasher was so so. also the upper floor great room has high ceilings and could not cool off to our liking in the afternoon heat of the summer. also the nest controls of the ac were set so that the ac went back to 75 after a couple of hours and we could not figure out how to change that. we all woke up really hot in middle of night bc ac had kicked up to higher temps. finally note that the garage openings are really tight. will not fit SUV or truck and barely fit our smaller cadillac. seem to be made for the rental cart sizes.

A Beautiful Get-away

Great Family Extended Weekend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Just got home. Stayed at 223 Bentgrass. The BEST house we ever rented: Great first class decor, upscale everything, great floor plan, and absolutely immaculate. We had six adults and three kids.Cinnamon Shore is also excellent. Great people, nice amenities and great service. They built a bon fire on the beach for us last night and it was pretty and great fun. Cost was about $150 including digging the pit, starting the fire, great smelling real logs for 2-1/2 hours, and lots of s’more stuff.This was our first time in Port Aransas, and we enjoyed the community. Very friendly. Did a Pirate ship cruise for the kiddos and they loved it. Lasted about 2 hours and the crew never stopped playing for the kids.Had dinner at Castaways based on a recommendation, and loved it. Wasn’t much to look at but the food was delicious. Portions were huge. Although we’ve lived on the gulf coast most of our lives, their hush puppies were the best we’ve ever had.

It was very family friendly and everything was walkable or drivable via the golf cart. I'd highly recommend renting one. The house was beautiful and decorating perfectly. The kitchen was highly equipped with all the things we needed to make our meals. My only recommendations are please provide beach towels!

Perfect Set Up for 2 Families!

We had 4 adults and 5 children and had more than enough space for everyone! The house location is ideal (close to lawn area, pool, boardwalks, etc) and the house itself is very beautiful and well maintained. I thought the beds were particularly comfortable!

Great Time in Cinnamon Shore

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great rental experience at Merroway Cove in Cinnamon Shore. The house was as promised online and we received good customer service during our stay. We were very pleased with the house's layout -- especially in the downstairs' bedrooms. The finish out of the house was beautiful as were the furnishings with a few exceptions. The living room furniture was not as "fresh" as we had hoped -- appearing sloppy and in need of a new cleaning. The master bedroom comforter also was in need of a good cleaning or replacement. Not to be picky but the kitchen supplies could stand a refresh and we wish there were more than one bath towel per room. Overall, the house was great for our family stay. We just wish there was more seating on the upstairs deck.

Wonderful house/grounds/service but dirty pool

Rest of the time pool was murky, looked like it desperately needed chlorine & cleaning , possibly shocking. We love the pool after beach, but cldnt do it anymore after the throw up incident. For this kind of resort, I expected better.

Disappointments- Limited parking due to visiting guest at neighboring houses, house was not completely clean when we arrived. Trash from prior renter, foul smell in kitchen/living area discovered it was from food left in disposal - small issues that were resolved with a little cleaning. Overall pleased with accommodations and great time.

merroway happy way

Reviewer Comments: house brought so many new memories. clean and so comfy! had basic necessities to cook a bit. door had a jam and maintenance was there in a jiffy! The only damper on our so perfect family vacay was when we went to sign up for kids camp, front desk could have been a bit more positive about giving us the info. Camp was from 1:30-5:30. Our kids only wanted to go a couple hours so we went at 3pm and it was a "so sorry you came late its this much. if you would have come earlier its this much" kind of answer. while it was facts they were delivering, it was the tone that made it so dooming. Other than that, everything was perfect!
