Cozy and quaint!

The house was perfect for our last vacay of the summer! It was a great size for our two families and dog. The only downside was waking up to ants on the counter and a few doors not closing properly. Other than that, it was wonderful!

Beyond Expectations: A VRBO Gem!

We recently celebrated my father's 80th birthday in Port Aransas, and the property exceeded our expectations. It was even more beautiful in person than the photos suggested online. The place was incredibly well-equipped, offering everything we could possibly need—and then some! We were particularly impressed by the thoughtful touches from AdvantStay property management. Each bathroom was stocked with charming toiletry boxes, and we were welcomed with a lovely note and postcards featuring local photos. Their communication was outstanding, with all the necessary details provided clearly through emails and texts, leaving us with hardly any questions. The additional services they offered were also noteworthy. We appreciated the information about hiring a personal chef, pet sitter, and local attractions. It was reassuring to know they were genuinely local and accessible, as we spotted their office while heading to the marina. The only downside to our stay was the property's location. Situated near wetlands, the recent storms had brought an overwhelming number of mosquitoes. Unfortunately, this made outdoor activities nearly impossible, as we were quickly swarmed and bitten just walking from the front door to our car. We understand this is beyond the control of the owner and property management company, but it did impact our overall experience. I would have liked a warning prior to arrival, but I am not sure it's always like that. Once you left that neighborhood no bugs.

The house was very comfortable and the location was perfect for us since we were birding in Port Aransas. The kitchen was good for our group since we like to cook our own meals and eat in.
