“The atmosphere of this home is a bit more beautiful than the description. It is an easy walk to the town center and its Shakespearean dominance. Later in the day and back in the patio with the vast open space of the race track, one can get the best sound of silence possible, with the beautiful scene and distant figures having their daily stroll.”

“Old Hall was a beautiful building from the outside, gardens and paths could have been a little more tidy with a bit more TLC. Our room was spacious but dreadfully dirty with Cobwebs on the ceiling, lots of dust on the skirting boards. Pillow case was dreadful with horrible black marks on which was replaced on request but housekeeping should have seen this for sure. Bath / Shower very dated with rusty mechanism for the plug/water system. Protective cover on water pressure tap came off in my hand……

Although it is in the pedestrian-friendly walking district, parking was still easy and convenient. And the location is great for exploring town. The host provided excellent directions for getting in, which made arrival simple and stress-free. The space had a very nice layout and everything felt thoughtfully arranged. “Room’s cleaning standards were very basic. Room for some improvement there it would benefit for sure. Very minor issues found with one or two ants I found in the room, and some foreign hairs on bedding on the first day, checking in. The kitchen and bathroom again require more monitoring/cleaning before use, as they’re shared, but given the prices of the rooms it isn’t unreasonable to expect guests to tidy up after themselves. Staffing mainly remote but friendly. Depending on your needs this a……
