「Great location just outside Bandon, Co. Cork, really quiet and loads of parking space. The kitchen is well served with utensils, pans, etc. Large fridge freezer, so no space anxiety there. The host supplies the basics, tea, coffe, some biscuits, olive oil, vinegar, sugar, etc. So no need to buy if you want to cook. The host I met was a fine gent. Only slight downside is the slight musty smell in the cottage, probably due to a long, wet winter....」

「Nora was delightful to meet. She personally texted us with directions and recommended sightseeing before our arrival. She took us to the apartment and explained everything to us very thoroughly. She also had fresh fruits, fresh milk, and some delicious scones waiting for our arrival. The apartment was beautiful, spacious, spotless and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. There are restaurants, bars and a grocery store in the same block. Will definitely return.」

「The location was good and the property manager communicated well, and that was all of the "good" I could find. Moldy smell, wifi didn't work. Curtains falling off, and the worst was no sheets, just a mattress cover and there was a hair on the pillow. Needless to say I left. I did not stay. If you have any mobility issues at all, not good. The stairs to the loft bed steep. There is a sign stating to back down. Would not recommend」

「For our family of 5, staying at this lovely and spacious apartment with a nice sized living room, dining area, and well equipped kitchen was so far superior to any hotel room. You could see the beautiful marina from a couple of the windows, and our host, Gerardine, was very responsive and helpful. Definitely recommend, especially for families!」

「This is a small flat on the top floor of a terrace house. Yes you can see the river just past the plumbers merchant yard and the industrial estate on the opposite bank. Access is via a very noisy shared stair case. First impressions on entering is a place which needs some upgrading and lacks furnishing - COSY it is not. The place was clean although old paint work and an excess of silicon on the shower tray gave the place a generally shabby feel. Then we opened the oven to find the grill pan had...

「If you prefer something off the beaten path with gorgeous views and think it is worth driving out of your way to see views you won’t see by staying in a tourist area, this place was worth it. I wish we had booked it for longer so we had time to explore the area. The host was great and very responsive to messages. I didn’t realize it was an apartment attached to the back of their house but honestly it didn’t bother us at all. She had everything we needed in the apartment plus some.」
