「Salthill Hotel is in a great location, lovely beach views and easy access to stroll on the promenade. The breakfast was good. I don't know what they were passing off as a chicken caesar salad but it was horrible. Whatever it was, it wasn't caesar but doused in it. Pizza was good enough. Music in the bar on saturday night was entertaining. Not trad but a good mix of classics and country. The rooms felt a little dated. Bed was comfy. Shower pressure good.」

「This is a modern hotel which looks good from the outside, but we found it seriously lacking in a number of areas. First, we stayed for three days, but our room was never cleaned at all. I thought it was an oversight after the first night, but the second night the housekeeping staff was again a "no show." We told the front desk, and of course they profusely apologized.
