「We were two couples and the cottage was very spacious. No small rooms. Plenty of seating. The beds were very comfortable. A wonderful kitchen with all of the amenities. Three baths that were very nicely maintained and very clean. Our stay was 10 days so the laundry was used a few times. Our hosts stopped by a couple times when we had a few questions and they were very pleasant and super attentive. Emailing with Jeanette was great with quick turn-arounds. The property was very nice,...

8. River Cottage. Traditional Irish Cottage in Mullingar Ireland

Mullingar

「We stayed here for 2 nights on our recent tour of Ireland. Firstly, the location was gorgeous. We were given plenty of clear instructions by the owner, enabling us to gain entry. We found that the 'little' cottage wasn't so little at all. It was a well equipped 3 bedroom cottage, with everything you would need...

「As a single American woman traveling to Ireland for the first time, I found Ali and Ger extremely helpful. Ger picked me up and dropped me off at the bus stop in Portroe. They also picked up necessities like eggs and milk. I even had a 15-minute run into the grocery store. On the way to the stables gear pointed out the walking trails into town. I got a brief lesson on turning on the hot water and operating the electric window shades. The place was quite divine for walking, watching the cows and...
