“Amazing home that, as said before in other reviews, is even better in person. LOVED the renovated stone barn, LOVED our hosts, LOVED the heated beds, LOVED the tub, LOVED the resident kitty that came to visit. Be aware, that you will be cozy if you know how to build and maintain a wood stove. Otherwise, this may not be the fall/winter destination for you. Not immediately close to many amenities (food/shopping) but not far either. (by U.S. standards)”

“My goal was to visit Castles and see the countryside!We purposely selected this place for the fact it was kinda in the middle of Ireland, from where we would make day trips. It worked wonderfully! Our other purpose was to be away from Dublin and meet what I guessed would be the true Irish. Very Close by was a fantastic Pub, and restaurant. We stayed a week here. Safety was of no concern on this trip. The people were wonderful and the food fantastic. We visited 7 castles while here, and went……

“Gillian's apartment was the perfect base for us exploring Cork County, the beautiful Copper Coast and the magnificent Rock of Cashel. Parking is ample and safe, and the apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with EVERYTHING we needed to make our stay comfortable. The kitchen has all you need to make meals (we made our breakfast everyday before hitting the road, and a.couple of dinners too). Thank you Gillian for hosting us. We would definitely return when visiting Cork……
