A very nice hotel with good food and services. The view is wonderful, the WiFi excellent, the room clean and roomy, the staff very helpful.
One major problem: They allowed, every day, 3-4 fifteen passenger vans to block the entire arrival drive. Arriving guests had to walk uphill on a narrow cobblestone
drive, with no sidewalk, with all of their luggage, children, etc.. in order to enter the hotel. Staff were told but nothing was done about it.
The ‘free parking’ was at a local park, dirt lot, a 7-8 minute walk uphill. It would have been a great place for the vans.
The dining room and breakfast food were great. But. One morning we told we had to sit on one side of the room and the next morning the other side. There was a constant confusion regarding where we were supposed to sit. We didn’t care, it was just a nuisance.
This was a great hotel with a couple of weird, unexplainable and easily remedied problems.
