Don’t judge the look from the outside because inside is spectacular. The rooms were very spacious and breakfast was on point. Staff is friendly and parking was always available. There’s security at the entrance door from dusk to dawn which adds to safety for the guests. The pool with bar is a vibe. The location is close to grocery, stores and eating venues. I will definitely stay there again.

The room we stay in was really spacious, clean, love the shower. It is nice it had a pool, but did not make sense to have it by the bar. The breakfast was very filling and tasty.

I had to request change of sheets. Water and towels ets. Also my last three days there, was lot of noise because several of the rooms were under construction. They only posted notices after I complained about the noise. The noise started at 8am and stopped at 4pm

My husband and I stayed at Metro Hotel Couva beginning on Tuesday 10th, 2026. Unfortunately, our experience started on a very disappointing note. Upon arrival, we found the lobby door locked. We stood outside knocking for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. During that time, a female staff member came out, looked at us, and went back inside without assisting us. About five minutes later, a male security guard finally came to unlock the door and let us in. This was not a welcoming first impression. After checking into our room, we noticed that the closet shelves were covered with spider webs (which stayed like this), and the sink had visible food residue. These cleanliness issues were concerning and unexpected. There were no hand towels in the room. Wed. morning I requested an extra regular towel or a box of Kleenex to dry our wet hands. I was told that they do not provide those items but that an extra towel would be placed in the room, but when we returned later that evening, no additional towel had been provided. Thursd. morning, a very nice female front desk staff member apologized for the incidents, which we genuinely appreciated and we received hand towels. It was also no hair dryer in the room. I had to request one from the front desk and personally returned it at checkout. We were supposed to receive two clean bath towels, one floor towel and toilet paper daily during our stay. Frid. this was not replenished. We paid for our stay until Feb. 15th, we left on the 14th.

It was great! This is my second time staying there. The rooms are very large and clean, there are a lot of stires around for shopping, the staff is courteous and the breakfast is great. Will definitely stay here again.

I have stayed here multiple times, and I love the simplicity of everything, the food is really good from a person who enjoys the local cuisine, the location is convenient, the rooms are spacious, and kept clean and bug free. the staff are pleasant, cordial, helpful. All around great experience but I don't look for perfection just consideration, and a true desire to support a good customer experience.

It was as described and depicted in the pictures. Staff were great, room had a few glitches as any older hotel does but the staff accommodated a room change. It's not The Ritz but they don't pretend to be either.
